Well the season, thankfully is over. Its over with 3 wins on the bounce. Not meaningful wins but victories that should ensure we start the summer with managerial stability and a clearer vision going forward. The last thing we needed right now was a change in management. Our managers will know exactly what is required regsrding player retention and targets desperately required to bolster the team. I expect swift action and indescriminate dismantling of bloated ordinary squad of seemingly mercenary players. If transfer funds have to be used in part buying out contracts then so be it. I think a lot of players will have to accept a deal to be released from their contracts, i doubt they will get full payout. The club needs a much condensed playing staff to provide clarity going forward.
LESS IS MORE needs to be the motto going forward and quality of quantity. i personally belive that Martin and Roy have used their time these last 3 months scrutinising and taking a good look at the forty odd numbers in the squad. They have done well to rinse out some results whilst experimenting with personelle and formations. This they need praising for.
The excitement starts now for me in as much as who leaves over who comes in. As those leaving will indicate whether martin has full control and trust from the top to FINALLY re-establish the club as a true force over callamatous desperate false dawns.
One word of caution though, will Mariknakis have his eye on us or his pending match fixing case? Thst is a worrying shadow?

Well said Rutland. Do not worry about EM and Greek politics. He has put us on a path to sell the club to even bigger hitters if the proverbial hits the fan!
