We should all want what's best for Nottinghamshire, great city with surrounding towns, top class cricket facilities, rowing course, oldest inn.
Panthers and state of the art ice rink.
No disloyalty there my friend, not as if they are a threat to the well being of forest.

Tell you what guys I've given my season card to my niece to enjoy the game as I can't bring myself to watch a game against a club in turmoil, its just not a game for me,so I'm going to catch a train in and sit in the trip or outside hopefully and enjoy nottingham.

Fairly sure I don’t have to express my hopes for league two at the basement end. Rooting for the stags though.

As a kid I lived in Clifton, was always a red but went to watch notts every other weekend as well, sold 0rogrames and cut down bull rushes from lenton marshes to pay for it,no factories or anything other than a power station and a pit and some great fishing lakes and a lido.
Never seen notts as a rival in all those years and never will, don't get why you'd want them to fall into oblivion?
I watched Tony hately come back to county and he was a class above what they had at the time, but it was just good see a different level of football,I'm just a Nottingham lad through and through and just don't get why people are bitter against a side that have hardly ever competed against is in the 62 years I've been alive.
Think your just sad people.
Get the derby rivalry, but in notts and Mansfield there is non.

Well said Annesley. However, you will get some flak from a few Luddites!

Think little dick upset a few red and rightly so, but he's had his trousers down now and learnt that you don't play poker unless you have the hand or the cash to back it.
Cost him big time and proved he's just a knob and not a big one at that.
Not notts fault just a tosser of an owner.

Hope Stags go up and best of luck to them in League One but I couldn't less about the Maggies

Think we would mostly all agree it's not the club but the dumb ass who runs it we would sooner fall on his big fat mouth and not the club? The stags should be given more of our up and coming youth to gain experience and also keeps them close to home and also easy to monitor. You don't see the stags sagging us of other than a bit of banter

{Ed001's Note - if you send them to a local team on loan, you can have them back at the club for training once or twice a week with the Forest side.}

Well let's send them up to the stags then until county get rid of the bigmouth owner

I agree with you realistic , I’ve no issue with club really but I do have an issue with their fans. Many not all think they are entitled to be negative about forest as a club and judgemental about our fans and Mansfield’s for that matter , regularly referring to intelligence levels and social standing. So the best for city argument doesn’t really work for me because a chunk of their supporters don’t care about anything like that In fact they’d rather the football on offer in Nottingham was poor, so long as everyone as equally as poor or poorer than them.

Despite this they regularly then display a second even more annoying right of entitlement which is, irrespective of the derision of forest they expect us to still dig deep for them when they are in need, their front at times is truly astonishing. Anna Soubry summed up their psychology perfectly when she said words to the effect; it’s in poor taste for forest to announce their ground plans when Notts county are on the brink . She spoke for many of them in my opinion.

It’s a nice idealistic Dream for as all to want the best for each other, if you open your ears and eyes it’s not a realistic from the evidence available.

Maybe in Generations gone by and the older generations it was a different culture around the two clubs. My experience of Notts county fans growing up in the eighties is the one I present above. They have the same contempt for us and would revel in the humiliation they’ve had this season, if the show were on the other foot.

A note on Alan Hardy as well, hardy’s Biggest error is buying the club as a fan . He’s a typical Notts fan who has unrealistic views of the club and where it should be.

County fans drive out owner after owner when they don’t get their own way, I didn’t see any of them saying ‘No Alan put your cheque book away’ the truth is they’d have hounded him out if he didn’t. Perversely he was hounded our because he did. Their fans haven’t learnt some Munto and still think someone is going to sweep them off their feet with successive promotions to the championship. A bit more realism is required, Hardy is just a typical Notts fan , many on here say he slagged us off and then expected our players , many of their fans who I know display exactly the same behaviours.
