Well after that little performance by Bamford, I am so glad we never seriously pursued him as a Forest player. Utter disgrace and should be banned. Credit to Bielsa, but Leeds aren't called dirty for nothing.

I don't see why any side should feel obliged to kick the ball out of play, it's a ridiculous unwritten rule of 'fair play'. There's rarely 'fair play' in football with all the diving, cheating and trying to get players sent off etc. so why pretend we're being 'fair' by kicking the ball out? Ridiculous.

Only one person on the pitch can stop the game and that's the Referee. And we wonder why football has a discipline problem compared to other sports, when we're encouraging players to take the rules into their own hands? Pathetic.

Goal should have stood, Villa should've paid the price for stopping and wandering about aimlessly expecting Leeds to kick the ball out. It's one of the first 'rules' I was ever taught when playing football and the 'rule' should still be in place.

PLAY TO THE WHISTLE!

I must have missed it when the refs had their whistles taken from them - absolute joke, s@#% like this happens but we can’t stop shirt pulling, time wasting, diving etc
We all crave for consistency from the refs and the law makers are supposedly trying to help refs, then this happens-everyone relies on a player kicking it out of play?? would this have happened in a cup final or a play off game? Stuff like this and some var decisions could cause riots 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cheers, chaps. I'm glad it's not just me.

Can you imagine the furore if there was more riding on the game? If Leeds were still in the hunt for automatic promotion? Or if Villa were still trying to seal a play-off place? Would they have still let Villa score a 'walk-though' goal? I doubt it. Then the media would've had a field day ripping Leeds apart.

Most players that go down are just looking for a rest anyway, or buying their team some time in an act of time wasting.

You're injured, so what! This is football, not the ballet. Unless your bloody heads falling off - Game on!

Depends,if someones seriously injured then yes it should be kicked out if the ref is not close enough to realise, most footballers know when a player is seriously injured and do the right thing, its the play actors that cause the problems, wet sponge never made anyone better.

I wonder why Mr Bielsa did not invite Forest to score after Keefe.s deliberate handball? Now that would have been genuine sportsmanship? # meaningless gesture!
