Hello all. 1st time contributor after reading all you're comments for sometime now. Thrilled to bits with the appointment of martin O'Neill. I'm sure you are all disappointed with the result yesterday. However if we had won i think that it would be papering over the cracks. Now M oN can see the amount of work and issues he has with this group of players. One thing I'm fairly sure about is that M oN will know his best 11 before AK ever did. To be honest I'm not sure he did know his best 11 before he went. Be patient better times ahead i'm sure . Onwards and upwards. COYR.

Welcome mate Martin will play two wingers and two up top,so the secret to success will be to get the two wingers getting crosses in and being backed up by overlapping full backs, something that didn't happen yesterday.
He needs darikwa and Robinson as full backs those two yesterday aren't good enough,I can see cash losing his place on the wing, like to see him alongside colback, appiah should be given a go on the wing instead, more direct and more pace.
First game though and his hands were tied with who he could play in defence, hopefully the likes of Dawson and figs will be fit,got to be the longest dead leg in history or has it actually died 😀😀

I wonder why we didn’t bring in a manager who could work with the majority of the players the club procured in the summer ? There would be someone out there who could have done better with what we had than what Karanka did . Be interesting to see where we are post Brentford .

Those will be the players bombed out who cannot get a game in the Championship other than Hobbs then?
I think we all know where we would be in the table with that plan based on the last 3 managers?
