Last night reminded me why it was over 30 years since I last went to Derby. Why bother when it such a dreary soulless place full of ugly miserable people who seem intent on digging up their city?

As for the Flat Pack Stadium even MFI would have provided the missing bits by now. Speaking of which I got seated next to the muttering nutter on the bus type who spent the whole match telling himself " Forest you're getting nothing" and was probably still in his seat after everyone had left!

The pre-match build up was hilarious You have some local oik (back by public demand) introduced onto the pitch giving a boring monologue about "why we are Direby" to remind a half empty stadium why they are there and to get them up for a fight. Then as the teams enter the tunnel those that have come out of hiding in the toilets all stand waving white flags of surrender before the kick off!

Compare to Forest fans full house and in full voice led by Danny Fox singing their songs and drowning out the flag wavers .

The game was another tactical masterclass by AK shuffling available resources by doubling up Janko and Benny on the left to keep things tight and protect against the fast counter attack.

First half the experience showed drawing fouls and getting their youngsters to run off most of their steam. Second half never looked troubled and finished the game by far the strongest and inspired by Solid Pants!

Direby have no chance of going up. Their back four cannot play the ball out under pressure, their strike force huffs and puffs but can be directed away from danger.

More importantly their fans do not believe. They boo Nugent and were nappy filling every time one of their defenders got the ball and expected GrabOne, Lolley and Murphy score every time they faced their goal! Another Candy Crushed Season come the business end.

Redinexile i agree mate they ran around like lunatics for half an hour then their legs started to go and we started to get on top for most of the rest of the game, lampard was trying to play the 4th official all night ,and the referee was a disgrace for standing looking at a blatant elbow and not having the guts to do the right thing he’s a joker of a ref anyway,in fact they should have been down to 9 in the end

Unbeaten red pants! I have not seen us lose this season!
