I see that our gk coach is Spanish. Oh dear!
I spent two years as a goalkeeper coach in Spain a few ago.
Catching the ball is completely foreign to them. They have reinforced knuckles sewn into the gloves aiding punching. Honestly. I couldn't believe it when I first saw it.
It's hardly surprising then that our current incumbent is no bloody good. No natural talent and a boxer for a coach.
Ps. Tom Heaton would be my choice.

Not every coach he has had would have been Spanish, he is just someone who has limited ability, Petr Cech could not make him better.

I have a theory.
If the our goalie coach speaks spanglish and lurch Romanian then maybe what the coach relays means something completely different in Romanian. Either way pants is what he is. Pants.

Most keepers are now coached to punch these beachballs away as they move about in the air too much. Just stating a fact but it will make no difference as you have your Forest player target firmly in your sights for the feeding frenzy!
