All the discussions about our goalkeeper. You don't really have to be an expert to see it. He just isn't very good.
I played I goal semi pro for a few years back in the day and like to think I know a good keeper when I see one.
I also coached goalkeepers in Spain for a couple of years.
Pants decision making is awful. He is never on the front foot. He is slow. His distribution is ponderous and inacurate.
The defence backed off too far on weds. Probably knowing that he would be rooted to the hoal line if they pushed forward.

Gazzi why don't you come out of retirement and take is place surely you couldn't be much worse I hope I get proved wrong tomorrow but I think Ipswich will be a tough game for us

Pantilimon is by far the worst keeper i have seen at Forest in over 40 years of supporting our great club.

At 6'8" you would expect him not to be as mobile as Smith but you would expect him to come for crosses and CATCH the ball, not either stay rooted to the spot,try and punch or just flap at it!!

For christs sake if you don't fancy Steele or Smith get a keeper in as although the team and you AK,
are doing superbly well at the moment he could cost us dearly.

Etimov is a better keeper!!!

Think the team is well balanced. Very impressed with the signings AK has made. Some gems there.
This goalie though is really now becoming an issue and repeating what others have stated he is loosing us points.
I believe come January if AK does nothing to rectify the situation then I am of the opinion that the owner will. This is such an obvious issue and one that will cause us to loose out on promotion that I can see him stepping in. This may cause a rift but the owner of this club is as desperate to see us in the big time as we are. It is difficult to understand how AK is not seeing what most of us is with PANTS or now just maybe he is?

I hope tomorrow isn’t an anti climax after Wednesday,
I agree Ipswich won’t be an easy, they are fighting for there life’s, if we get an early goal it could be a rout, if we don’t, that’s when Pantilimon worries me,
Let’s hope we get a treat followed by a few pints after the game.
