You see a different game to me Cjay which I respect. For weeks I’ve been saying JC shouldn’t start against certain teams because lolley, Osborn and cash (one of which sits out to accommodate JC) are better equipped for the championship. The sad fact is the flair players will often be the wrong choice at home because of the way teams come and set up. We’re more likely to break them down with the stronger aggressive play deployed by lolley, cash and Osborn.

What I saw last night was this. In the first 30 mins fox didn’t win a single header against the number 19 who was huge. Subsequently millwall got their tails up and there confidence and caused problems. Stop them winning those headers and you stop them playing there game and dictating play.

AK spotted this and guedioura dropped deep to bail fox out. This of course isn’t fox’s fault and I admire him big time for his performances this season - he’s been excellent.

I’m not sure where you sit and want you see but everyone one around me bemoaned Fox’s lack of areiel command in the first half - a little too much in my opinion. JC was only as ineffective as he’s ever been last night so I’m not sure what last night presented to you that other games haven’t around his contribution, attributes and resilience for this league.

It’s all about opinions all of which I enjoy reading, where possible I always try and give some substantiantion on mine based on what I’ve seen. Apart from the odd irrational rant!

I’ll say again it’s not a disaster at the moment - far from it, we’ve got some great players I just think AK needs to improve at selecting he right altlelte for the course because he defo has the players to play in any formation and combat any formation deployed by the opposition.

I agree 2star Millwall was always going to be a tough game physically the two goals we did score shows the quality we do have in the side

I'm personally disappointed at last night's subbing - ok, Lolley could not be avoided, and usually AK has been spot on with his subs, but Fox needed relieving early, and taking off Osborn was plain wrong - had he stayed on we might have held out for the win because he gets stuck in everywhere and could have stopped their midfield putting in so many crosses. Add Murphy for Grabban into the mix, since Lewis was wandering mostly aimlessly, and I'm sure the game would have been different. I'm hoping AK will "learn" a lot about how to manage playing a team like Millwall, because it's those games where we need to pick up wins.

One thing that still shocks me is pants is 6ft5 ish and does not come out for crosses if he commanded his box more we'd prob concede less

2 Star:

I get the theory, I understand Elliot was causing issues, but I saw the majority of threat from Millwall coming from balls into the box the either Pants or Heffele should be dealing with.

So a Heff/Dawson partnership deals with them, what does it do for us going forward. Both run like their towing a caravan. Neither can come out, Gueds & Colback sit deeper, Carvalho comes deeper & Grabbans on his own again.

Swings & roundabouts mate, i'm not up for changing the CBs every game. Heff & Pants had a bad night. Fox is too good an all round CB to drop.

We move on.

lol towing a caravan - class ! My thoughts on switching fox as well are to stop the stadium moaners pouncing on him at the first chance . I felt the poor chap was in a David and Goliath fight last night. Hope his form carries on if love to see him have a great season
