I believe 20 games is a fair and reasonable amount of time for performances and results to be judged. That takes us to 1st Dec, home to Ipswich. A lot has been made of the investment made under AK but realistically we are miles behind most clubs when you look at it over the last 3 or 4 seasons.
Yes we've made a statement this season, yes Mendes is involved and we all want a Wolves type ending but so far it's not happening. AK has put his neck on the line by signing a lot of 'experienced' players, so far their efforts have been mixed and involve inevitable injuries.
He has been stubborn in his selections and tactics, yet not so proud to make the substitutions to change things. There adds to our frustrations, when those subs perform at a higher level than his starting 11. Everyone is a football manager and thinks they know best but it's a scientific process now, AK will be fed stats on players on the training ground and rely on that for his team.
In school some pupils are excellent in the classroom yet flunk their exams, it's about handling the pressure when it counts. So Mr Karanka, why not try playing a team of winners instead of star pupils and favourites? It might just save your job. 👠FTID.

It won't be long before he's shown the door and we're left with another group of under achieving, over paid players. What was the point in signing Dawson for example - "he's great to have in the dressing room" - I'm sure he is but at 18k a week!? AKs hunger for experience has gone too far. He seems helpless and is soon to have some 6 defensive midfielders on the books. What does that tell you about his mindset. Unfortunately he's been coached by mourinho, boring boring boring.

26 games enough for you Red James with the amount of players that have come and gone. Really?

That's the problem perks he's bought in to many in one go,that never works.

It would have been better if a higher quality of player had joined us instead of the quantity of players that we have brought in. 🤔

The squad was appalling. It needed a overhaul and as a few have pointed out in the past it will take a manager 2 or 3 windows to sort.We still have many players who are now on loan and still in the current squad Karanka doesn't want but hasn't been able to shift permanently

Perks you can't be serious that you want even mote players signed in January?
The club will be financially unstable and the only way to balance things would be to sell our prize assets cash,Osborn and Worrall, the rest wouldn't fetch anything.

Perks13 Aitor has brought in how many? 15,16, or is it 17 ?
Would it not have been better to bring in four permanent players in, in January with about three loans then to sign about five permanent players in the summer.
That would be 9 players with the permanent players, then 12 if the loan players shone, surely that would be enough?
With 5 to 6 players less the quality of player would be even better than we have. Would that not be a good thing.?

Yeah it's long enough he wanted his signings early to get a whole pre season he got nearly all the signings early guess what same rubbish football as last year, really happy with the squad just need someone to use it properly now

Agree with Stags comment, quality over quantity everytime.

You presume Aitor has selected all these players. The amount of centre mids is a strange one.My guess is he wanted Yates out on loan but for whatever reason it didn't happen. He obviously doesn't rate Bridcutt and I think had an offer come in he would have gone.I reckon he is worried about the form Watson is in and doesn't feel he is getting the leadership he expected from him.Yacob is a very good signing by the way.
