Just a few suggested do s and don't for our Aitor and for discussion fellow trickies
Firstly, don't play 2 holding midfielders who do the same job is Colback AND Watson but rather have one holding either Colback or Briddcutt or the new Greek lad and one box to box midfielder either Geddy or Yates.
Secondly, don't pick players carrying injuries which Lolley and Grabban clearly were on Saturday.
Thirdly do start Cash!
Fourthly do get the full back backs, particularly young Darikwa to work harder on their defensive duties, getting closer to their singers and cutting out crosses.
Fifthly, its ok having a defensive set up but it should be aggressive pressing defence with the aim of winning the ball back quickly and high up the pitch so don't pick Watson his legs have gone, ditto Murphy except as impact sub.
Finally do try 3 centre backs to cut out all the headed and set piece goals we concede probably Dawson and Heffalump with Fox sweeping up and getting us going like the old fashioned liberal to utilize his distribution. Don't just park the bus but use defence as a springboard to fast counter attack like Clough used to do. (ok we haven't got tireless midfield hunters like On Neill, Bowyer Archie Gemmill etc but you get the picture) .!
