Would everyone agree that Karanka needs to play as strong a team as possible tonight. Irrespective of the result we need to use this game as platform for progressive football. Get the unity and cohesion going. The fans need to see the capabilities of this new team without points being at stake.
A weakened team is pointless regwrdless of the team newcastle put out. I would start with steele in goal not impressed with the flatfooted pantimilon, sorry!

No I would change the team and keep the first team fresh for Saturday we are never going to win the cup plus the last thing our first team need is an extra game and to be tired when we play Brentford the laeuge is more important
