After we sign byram and colbeck hopefully this week our first team squad will look like this.
Goalkeepers
Panto smith
Right backs / wing backs
Byram darikwa
Left backs / wing backs
Robinson osbourne
Central defenders
Dawson fig worrell fox
Centre midfielders
Watson colbeck bridgcutt geddy cash
Wingers/ attack minded midfielders
Lolley Dias the other 2 Portuguese players
Forward grabbon soudani brereton Murphy
That's 23 I know I'm being greedy.
But if we get any injuries to centre defence
We could still struggle. So another cb would be nice. Maybe mings on loan. He can also cover left back as with Robinson who's also versatile.
And maybe another forward. Owt happens to grabbon we screws. No one know if soudani will cut it and Murphy brereton doesn't offer us much. I'd let brereton go out on loan and try to get a deal for Marriott over line. A deal rising to 6m after so many appearances and goals. Maybe 3m upfront. Send brereton there.

I think lam might stay and can provide cover at CB and CDM, not the greatest player but as a 5th choice in both positions its not a bad option

Why do people keep including Osborn in defence he isn't a defender he had to fill a hole didn't too bad but if were aiming for promotion his name should be no where near the defender list, is a midfielder and of sorry but it's like playing halford upfront again

Osbourne no defender I agree. But he can do a job in midfield or as a wing back.

The question is do we want players just doing a job or Do we want them excelling in there role, personally I'm not over keen on too many versatile players jack of all trades but master of none springs to mind

No one knows what Osborn is. Attacking mid would be most people's opinion but he isn't great at that either.

That's why I'd sell osbourne if a offer of 5m came in. Didn't Newcastle offer that last January??
