Can someone explain to me why if you have three Centre backs trippier and young as wing backs why oh why is one of the three Centre backs Kyle walker? Most Croatians were 6 ft at least. Walker tried to head the ball and the Croatian has his foot against his head . If Cahil had been there I don't think it would have happened . Why didn't the referee blow for a high dangerous kick? I am just a sad old 1966 rememberer Forest fan.

Because the defeder stooped to head the ball do that at any level of football and you chance getting kicked,it wasn’t dangerous kicking it was bad defending

Agreed, Walker waited for the ball, he should've attacked it. Stones guilty of ball watching for the 2nd. Although considering Manducic only had one leg, his reactions were class

He was in there to give the back line some pace because Maguire and Stones aren’t the most mobile of players. To me it’s horses for courses. You only need walker there if you’re playing against quick strikers, otherwise I’d have gone for Cahill or maybe even Dier but I’m not the England Manager and thankful for how far we got.

I have had a good idea why don’t we put Osborn in one of the three Centre back positions as he is quick I know he is slight of height but this idea I got from the England manager
