What an England team in the making!

Down to earth intelligent manager, grounded players with no ego playing as a team with round pegs rather than picking the so called best by reputation?

2020 Euros will be a step nearer winning a trophy.

It's not rocket science and meanwhile down in the Forest our team are on a similar track.

Our World Cup adventure has seen the resident beach walking Foremoaners bleating the same nonsense they spout about our club on the manager and player signing/ selection.

Well gentlemen time for eating more Humble Pie when the players you said should not be in the team Trippier, Maguire, Young and Pickford have been the stand out performers. Football will come home for England in 2020 and AK's blue print will reap similar rewards despite his critics talking out their backsides?

Not talking nonsense at all. Just saying it how I saw it. We did well against sides we should have done well against. When we played a decent side as we did in Croatia we lost. France, Belgium, Portugal and to a lesser extent Spain, Italy, Holland and Germany will all beat us. Admittedly, you can only beat what gets put in front of you but just because we got to a semi final by playing weaker teams doesn't make us a good side.

Agree with a lot of that Redinexile but Young one of the stand out players? Give over he was garbage and contributed nothing other than slowing the game down.

You also have to consider the half of the draw England came through. Had we finished top of that group, I'm not sure they would have made it to a semi final. The first real test was against Croatia, and they failed. I can't see us beating Belgium for 3rd spot. For me, they over achieved, and luck of the draw, is the true reality.

Lol red in exile, you do get over excited there a team in progress and done really well but last night they were utter garbage. Jane wasn't even in the match nice square ball to sterling, game over. needs to take a leaf out of Croatia captains book, modric was all over the pitch last night controlled the game. young, was terrible and if I remember right red, you called a certain manager not long back for getting his team playing the ball side to side and backwards. anyway, I'm not interested in the England team, it's forest I want to do well this season, coyrs.

Square pegs??? Young at left back. This england team and manager were over hyped. Played poor teams and flattered. Kane looked awful as did lingard ali sterling. Lastnight was men against boys. As for bringing on rashford? Pathetic.

Over hyped???? Nobody gave them a chance of doing anything and on paper it was the worst team we have had in years.
Men against boys?england should of had the game won in the first half so not sure where ya getting that from.

Young was a leader on the pitch and his positional play was great. Furthermore he defended the far post really well to high balls unlike Danny Rose who cannot defend.

Young may not be the future but he help guide the newbie's through the games and delivered good set pieces. Southgate will introduce Sessegnon at left back for the next tounament andhopefully Lascelles in place of Rose and Cahill.

Bar tripier and pickford the rest of England were extremely poor in the second half.
Young was weak and looked lost a leader he isn't.
A team in the making?
They didn't exactly play a difficult teams.
Croatia outshone England in the 2nd half.
