Since the middle of June the chairman of Peterborough United has been touting two players he thinks the likes of us and others in the championship are desperate for.
So why is it nobody is taking the bait? In fact no bids have been received by him at all.
I think AK could be playing a waiting game here and these two are the players he wants. The longer it goes on the more desperate Peterboro are going to be as they have earmarked that money for two players.

Wasn't it only our fans that wanted to sign both these players? From what I understand they made an enquiry about Marriot, but didn't take it further. Grabban and Bamford were always the targets.

Peterborough chairman has over priced Marriott. That's probably why no bids have gone in. And Barry Fry's vain attempt to start a bidding war has failed spectacularly.
