All this talk an divide about our Benny Osbourn and recent rumours of selling him I just don't understand. He's like our Nicky butt of utd. Versatile very reliable and always gives everything. Sometimes not spectacular but efficient. Over the years of watching versatile players asked to do a job no matter what the situation he's one of the best for me. The type of player every squad especially when threadbare or on a losing run needs a 7 out of ten player consistently. I for one would not well. Maybe we got to sell one or two but i'd like to think we'd shift the dead wood first.

Problem is CIG who would want the dead wood

Having thought bout osbourne I'd keep him unless a bid of 7/8m was offered and in today's market he should fetch that. But agree we need deadwood shifting first.

Anything over 6 would represent good business otherwise he stays for me

It's easy to say shift the deadwood but if they don't want to go and nobody wants them were stuck I would like to keep benny he will only get better

There's probably enough deadwood to build a raft and launch it from Skegness beach . With a decent tail wind it could go as far as Piraeus Greece.

There only dead wood in the eyes of the new manager.
This is what happens keep changing managers when talking stability??
Might end up with 50 mill of dead wood soon??
It's all about getting the right manager.
McGovern and Ohare weren't the best players and neither was Larry or burns,it's a team game and confidence and team spirit are just as important

Ff799 got to disagree with you about kenny mate he could play, if I remember rightly he scored20 goals one year for brum up front and then came to us and was footballer of the year at centre back, but I do agree with your overall point.
