AK as choice of one from three v sheep, Brereton, Murphy or Vellios. Ben is giving it a real go but as much to learn and time on his side but needs using sparingly at this point. Murphy as been a decent player but as now gone past his sell by date, and with his long contract secured can't be bothered to graft. That leaves Vellios, clearly the best option of the three, the other two, one to old one to young. He still as not been given a proper run of games and a single game or a sub appearence is not enough. He wants to show what he is capable of and get into AKs plans but I repeat he needs a few games to do that. Of the three I really feel he is the most likley to shaft the sheep. U REDS.

Vellios to be given 60 mins, Ben to come on to terrorise their tired legs. I hope Tomlin is fit for Sunday, he could endear himself to the fans, with a hat-trick and MOM performance. COYR.

After Murphy came on at half time it was like playing with 10 men. He contributed nothing apart from bungling a fabulous MC opening. He appears to have neither the pace or determination to fit in to this side. I agree we should give Vellios a chance as we help Brereton improve his skills and confidence.

Well the competition for places is supposed to mean that when players are given a chance they grab it with both hands. Murphy made a half hearted effort to grab it with a fingernail. Vellios must be desperate to go one better than that cracking shot against Dourby that smacked the post. I think he'll get the first 70 minutes. Another goal of the season, please, Apostle 🕒

Im going to email Ak and push for retford red as assistant manager or at the very least some form of consultant for the manager. He has clearly seen things that nobody else has ever spotted and i'm positive that AK could learn a thing or two from him :)

BB would get old manned against Derby.

We have better options and maybe play lolley further up. As long as the fat lad plays we should win :)

Osbourne left mid and the left back at left back.

Worrall for fox and move fox along to LB?

That would be a solid team for a hard fought game.

Although, I'd have Lichaj back in if he's available?
Darikwa is all over the place. At one point in last the game he was up in top left hand corner of pitch for some reason? Ridiculous dangerous unthinking play. Let the ball do the work for G sake!

Was just reading the Ev post about the accounts and someone commented.

"Fatwaz was worth every penny for all the enjoyment he brought to our side of the river, god how I miss him."

I hope they realise that the club owed nothing in the months before Fawaz left.?

Well, actually that's not true. Fawaz owed himself 80 million. That was the extent of his folly, plus some from his personal fortune, in spinning the wheel of the football casino.

Ok, all good so far. No outstanding dangerous liabilities.

Until Fawaz decides to leave.

At that point Fatwass landed the club with a £80 million bank loan!
That is a lot more serious position to be in for the club! It meant Fatwass was no longer owed anything, and the club was placed in huge peril with the real possibility of going bust if Mario hadn't come along.

So, now we are in a position where Fawaz creeps off minus an £80 million liability which HE SPENT!
By the way. He pocketed that £80 million loan before he left to take him level!
He also left with £17.9m Cash from Mario and a wopping £19.2 million outstanding which the club still owe him!

To me, that makes it that he effectively sold the club for £117.1 million !!!!

Now, we still also have a £40 million debt to pay off, or refinance, and that's due this year. No big deal, but still the club owes well over £65 million and probably a lot more.

On the flip side you could say that Mario had to pay or is liable for

£19.2 m Owed Fawaz
£17.9 m Cash buy in
And take on a 40 million bank debt (that looks to have been refinanced into the new holding companies name) and also paid in £21.8m to the accounts as a loan to get that financing deal down to £40 m.

It basically cost £29.7 million to get the keys and he took on the rest in debt.

So, £80 mill bank debt got chopped in half!
£40 million of it refinanced in the new holding companies name.

£21.8m pumped into bank from Mario
£19.2m deferred to Fawaz for the sake of the accounts and there you have the £80 million!

How that last 19.2m was moved isn't clear but I think the picture is becoming fuller now.

Maybe there is some personal refinancing deal went on between mario and Fatwass but there is certainly more work to do on getting the debt down.
