I see you are fighting the breadmans corner for him, i suppose he kneads someone to try and prove he was worth his dough.

The way i see it Warburton was mistaken that the owners wanted a side that was largely young players and would be given 18 months.

Warburton as you say was not given a lot of time but do you not see where he went wrong, although AK has changed the results overnight he has not had much time.

Warburton had 9 games at the end of last season to access who need to go and work out his targets for the summer, he brought in 7 players had a pre season to work on everything he wanted.

Where did it get him, we started out pretty much winning one losing one, but then not only did we start losing more and more, but performances got worse as well.

AK came in very close to the January transfer window accessed the players, gave everyone a chance to to some extent in a game.

AK after the Preston game had the guts to give the players criticism fired from all cylinders, then on the last day of the window got rid about 7 players and brought in 8 players, followed by two more freebies.

Most of the players AK brought in are not much of a gamble, being either short term contracts, or loans. Once the players started to get some fitness some progress has been made.

The back four see better protected, some resilience has been added, the lads were down to ten men for over an hour against Burton but got a draw, and they came from a goal down against Reading.

The Qpr game speaks for itself, you can say our results have come against poor teams, but is that not the teams we have so often struggled against in the past.

The Qpr game is not a sign that all is fixed but it is a sign of some improvement, that is all i want this season then hopefully get better and better next season.

I feel as long as progress looks like being made AK will get as much time as he wants.

Can you say progress was being made by Warburton.

Robbo you really don't get it mate.
Skeggs me and even gingerkid just wanted to end one season with the same manager we started with.
Is that too much to ask?

Yes. We'd be in dire trouble now and expecting a bunch of tiny Scottish teenagers to bail us out if things had continued. Robbo is spot on.

I want the same thing, that means the manager is doing something right.

I though do not agree with sticking with a manager where both results and performances are getting worse by the game.

Do you let a manager take you down, when results and performances are rubbish there needs to be some sort of improvement.

This ones no better so far he's won two if were going by results and all of a sudden we've got the one.
Really hope it works this time.
It needs to.
We'll never know if he would have taken us down,no january window for a start.
Remember whatever happens the rest of this season it's a side that is built around colback and tomlin who we can't afford to buy anyway, wages wise alone never mind fees.
It's just a quick fix then the hard work starts bringing in players on our wage structure

Even if that same manager puts you in League 1, that is too much to ask.

Top post robbo, my only issue is that Warburton was not mistaken by the owners, he had his own agenda.

His mate in charge of recruitment, his daughter the agent.
Why did we sign unknown Scottish players and linked with more in January?

How many of Warburtons players are currently playing, Darikwa playing by default because of Lichaj getting sent off.

Makes you wonder who was the agent for Murphy, a long contract for an old, homesick now constantly injured player.

Seems to me that it looks like the unscrupulous dealings of an ex banker playing football manager.

Just saying.

What an poor post red one.
The only player on Forest's books that is attached to key sports, his daughters is part of is Ben Brereton.
Could have signed Garner, Waghorn and Tavenier though.

I don’t think there was anything fishy about Mark Warbui just don’t think long term it was what would take us forward. I’ve got respect for his efforts and his attempts to build a team within a tight budget that could compete .

He will get a new job and I’ll follow his progress with interest and hope for him to do well - when he’s not playing us. If he’d have signed Watson, a keeper and guediora in the summer we’d have been ok. Another manager that hoped Cohen would play more and paid for it when the invevitable happened.

Trouble is there is so many knee jerk reactions on here, managers go on winning streaks and losing streaks all the time but to get continuity you have to give them time to change things.

People have been saying to get rid of Karanka as well now and he has been here 5 mins. It's not necessarily just the managers at fault but owners and fans with absolutely no patience.
