Delighted with the performance last week, and I hope we build on that otherwise it's meaningless. Staggering how quickly he has got the team organised.

Another positive is that he wants Mills and Carayol gone, as well as Ward.

Anyone think Jason Shackell would be a decent central defensive option? I know he's a Ram, but plenty of players have crossed the divide and been successful. If we could look past that we would have a hard defender with premier league experience for next to nothing.

Shckell is 34 years of age. One of the players Derby have been trying to off load for a while

Shackell is 34 and hardly featuring for Derby this season and one of the many players they are trying to get off the wage bill.It looks as though he may be going to Milwall on loan. Many fans thought the club paid far too much to bring him back from Burnley, for a player past his best and over 30. I do not think he is for us.

Didn’t shackell go to derby for the money?it was rumoured he went for £30k a week.could do with a few like that at the club.
