For nick26. Wolves invested a big deposit in ruben neeves. They did not fork out all the rated £15mil at once, it has bern spread over a number of years. What a signing.
Bonarini striker on loan frkm saudi
and diogo jota on loan from atletico.
From a team foundering like us last year the new manager has the same vision as warburton only he has better direction and ideas. He also did not play at a very high level.
Now we beat Arsenal youth and did it well but against Villa the difference was we were up against experience. Take Snodgrass, Bruce had him at hull and knows what his strength is. Snodgrass has been here before though not blessed with pace delivers killer balls. Villa had experience all over the park even grealish is young but well blooded.
Karanka needs time a little money and us behind him. This season is another writeoff though promotion was never possible top 6 would be a target. Karanka hopefully will start to show his influence over the next few games, we may lose a few but a more cohesive and balanced approach is what we hope for. Good players may arrive bringing much needed experience and craft but it needs to be measured and the RIGHT personelle employed no rush buying. Let him get it done his way and the preperation for next season starts now.

Rutland if I could give you two thumbs up I would. That's a great post. What I think we need is a midfielder who is not just available to us, but who meets the gaffer and says "I'll do it. I'm your captain. I'll stand up and be counted. I'll make my voice heard. I'll protect the back four. I'll make players think twice before running at us because they'll be wondering if I'm close by. I've got the balls to do it and I've got everyone else's back." THAT'S who we need. I don't care whether he's from Middlesbrough or Middle Earth. Sign THAT player.

So Rutland what your saying is if he's a idiot like mw doesn't get the results we should stick with him anyway because he his karanka some fans make me laugh if we're near the bottom by the end of march and the team go on a bad run he will get exactly the same treatment from you and half of the forest fans and the owner as the last 20 managers here's your compo handshake fired goodbye that simple

Skegs you always have to over simplify to the nth degree. Nobody takes a look at just results and wants someone sacked. That's why the league table isn't based on win percentage. Its the same with any job, you trust someone to do what they say they will and if they don't get the job right IN SEVERAL AREAS, not just one (ie. Man management, using the tools at their disposal in the correct manner etc, not just wins or sales or accounts opened ) You're a little naive or foolish if you think that "half of us" look at the points gained after 10,20 or 30 games then call for a sacking. Rutland is entitled to his opinion without you shouting him down because some people sometimes question a manager's ability to continue.

Skegs i bope the people of linconshire understand your drivel. I pointed out last week that managers will never get time if results are as inconsistant as warburton. However Karanka is our man, appointed clearly by the current regime. Has a proven track record at this level. Karanka would not have been my choice but he is a good choice. We do not need a wholesale clearout right now but a a few experienced signings. It was evident from the reaction brazil got from the team that direction was an issue and Karanja should be able to pick up the reins. He will get time according to results and direction that's modern football.

Look on the bright side everyone, Karanka is supposedly a Dougie Freedman style manager so he will stop the goals against leakage

Well said hogpuma now that would be tops and I think even at 32 Leadbitter would do a magnificent job. If memory serves me correctly he always does a job on us especially the amount of times he's been linked with us. He seems to enjoy rubbing our noses in it.

Great Post Rutland.

Don't tarnish karankie with the same brush as Warburton.
Karankie is a proven manager where as your man is nothing more than a delboy pretending to be a manager.
AK needs time to see what he has at his disposal and to evaluate what he needs to do.

May I suggest some other posters read Rutlands post again Slowly so you understand his point.
