Hobbs has had a bad reaction to his back injury, time he called it a day, unless he is waiting until his contract runs out before calling time on his career.

Would you give up 20 grand a week?
He'll keep taking the dough don't worry about that.
He and fryatt have bled the club dry.
At least now we have a director of football to make sure we don't sign sick notes.

He might try and carry on for another season or two with another club?

Hobbs came to us on loan from Hull in 2013 with a bit of a sicknote reputation. He played 25 games on loan before Mad Billy signed him on a juicy contract in Jan 2014. He played two more games that season after putting pen to paper before going on the club ( sick)

Since that 2013/2014 season I think he has played less than 50 league games for us .

His contract is up in June but I think he may well get paid off in January. I would be staggered if he was offered any kind of a contract at all with his history

As I recall creepy we were all made for signing Hobbs and when the transfer looked in doubt most fans were up in arms blaming Fawaz for playing games and scuppering the transfer.

It is odd, when Forest fans see a talented player they are willing to turn a blind eye to their being injury prone, and just want to think about the positives their talent will bring to the team.

Yet when we lose a game they seem to only think two things, either relegation, or sacking the manager.

Hobbs will be gone in the summer.
