I see Bridcutt is coming under some criticism, and in my opinion rightly so. He seems ineffective most of the time and is so slow to pick a pass. In the Birmingham game he simply stood still appealing for a foul instead of tracking back. Vaughan is a different class in comparison. for me it should be Bouch and Vaughan in the centre, both have good defensive qualities but can pick a pass and score a goal.

First on here people over-criticise Osborn, and now they want to do the same with Bridcutt. I don't see it, Bridcutt has made some good tackles, interceptions and passes, and some frankly not so good. They're all on a steep learning curve and will make errors. Give him some time and space to settle into the club and the team. We have not seen the best of him yet, and despite a couple of early goals the Bouch hasn't set the world alight.

But he is mid 20's and that is his trade, should he not take to it like a duck to water ?

he needs to stop being as naive defensively as he is, imho.

hes played some cracking balls forward though. just wish he'd do it more often!

might be a confidence thing with him.

when you have a player as good as vaughn, most players will pale in comparison

Bouch hasn't done a lot because he hasn't played. I would take him over bridcutt.
