Really want to see a positive turn around Vs Burton following Sunday's result.
Would love to see us score first.

with speculation around MW's future already, got a feeling this could be a must win match for Warbs.

It will give us a true indication of where we're at. If we can't get a result against Burton at home, we're either in for a dire season or something needs to change.

I'm not advocating a change of manager but MW supporters assume he knows what he is doing. We shouldn't overlook the fact that he doesn't really have a football background, has built a reputation on 1.5 seasons at Brentford and very little else to justify his ability. We are placing a lot of faith in a man who has walked out of a job when the going got tough at Rangers when he was failing to impress.

I don't know if he is the right man or not but there are 2 key questions, should we continue with a manager who is relatively inexperienced or if things continue to go on a downward spiral should we forego stability and replace sooner rather than later. Whatever happens it shouldn't be a knee jerk reaction but a decision to bring in a manager with far more experience who has been identified and recruited first.

syred I do not think it will be a knee jerk reaction if Warburton is sacked after the Burton. I cannot remember such a bad run of defeats and leaking goals, virtually 2 every game. The manager does not appear to know how to change or stop this. He has had money to spend and been well backed by the new owners. He should haved brought in 2 centre halves in the close season. Surely he must have known last season that the defence needed sorting out. I would imagiane a new manager is being sourced, no doubt it will be a foreign manager.

According to rangers players and a Brentford player mw isn't so much bothered about defence. one Brentford player who was a defender said mw didn't get them training on set plays he said none of the defence knew who was marking who sounds familiar I still think mw should be given to February at least.

Syred with respect didn't Warbo get Brentford promoted then into the Championship playoffs on a tiny budget, then got a financially troubled Rangers promoted into the Scottish Prem and into 3rd place, winning a League cup on the way? Playing entertaining football on the way also? It's a record not to be sniffed at surely? On balance, let's give him a chance bearing in mind our chairman's view that we are a club in intensive care

Ff79 Stokey. Can't disagree with your comments but in contrast the first time he got into trouble at Rangers where he couldn't match expectation he walked away. He doesn't have the experience his age would suggest and not experienced too many of the ups and downs in football. It must say something about him that Brentford got rid even though he had taken them to playoffs.

What team are you watching blidred and let's be honest mw got left with a lot of crap in the team some of what he's got rid of some he still has he had about 4 million to spend on transfers some very good deals one or two bad ones but at 4 million you can't complain hopefully he will be given a decent amount in January to spend on some decent defenders if he doesn't spend the money on defence then I would be worried but you ain't getting any good defenders and try bulk the midfield up and add a striker for 4 million simples

Syred

Did B C not walk out on Derby, and get sacked at Leeds within 44 days. Warburton is no Clough, far from it but you can not say because of a clash of opinions , and being tapped up by Forest Warburton is not a decent manager.

Like someone else has said if no defensive players are not brought in in January, if he is still with us then something is wrong somewhere.
