Don't think we should get too worried about early friendly results. It's how DF uses the loan market that will make or break our season. It's probably the only way we can add some real quality !

As someone has said Newcastle got beat 6-0 in a pre-season friendly the year they went up. It is what you do in the league that counts, and you can not have any idea how the season may pan out until about 20 games in.

Wilderbeast you were at the same talk when df said loans were a last resort as nf were to big a club to be a training ground for other clubs. He clearly put the emphasis on youth not loans.has anything changed.?

I was agreeing with you about friendlies, but adding an extra bit stating people should not go judging our season, when it starts until we have played about 20 games.
