We are playing at the moment like a relegation side, can't string any good passing moves together going forwards, can't clear anything that comes anywhere near our area convincingly, as much as I hate to say it book the tactics are all wrong and the only way we can make our way up the pitch is the long ball. Pearce may well be summoned to fawaz's office tonight.

I love forest like all the fans on here I want pearce to stop fed up with changing manager after manager maybe he needs a decent side kick to help but really just want stability for at least a couple of seasons and what really winds me up people saying get rid of pearce but nobody saying who they would replace him with there is no one out there out of work that is any better than pearce and managers that are in a job who would take this hot seat

We find ourselves in a catch 22 situation I'm afraid. Pearce is not the man to take us forward but due to FFP etc he is what we'll have until the seasons end. We have to accept it if we like it or not. Like all Forest fans I love him but I just cannot see this terrible form turning around with Pearce in charge. Yes the players have to stand up and be counted also but today we looked dire and bereft of ideas. The sad thing is that this is fast becoming the norm on a matchday. I keep on going hoping for that spark that gets us on a decent run but it isn't happening.

I never said that i wanted them to get rid of him, i said that i thought he hads got the tactics all wrong, and 'i hate to say it' but he may be in fawaz's office tonight. He is a motivator not a tactician, n i think maybe he hasn't got a tactical genious alongside him, but may need one. I like almost every other fan want him to succeed, but the way things are going we will be going down.

There are many well-worn and often posted reasons why no one can identify a realistic management option and they're all of the club's own making. Flirting with relegation makes us an unattractive proposition but that's down to SP; FFP sanctions make us an unattractive proposition but that's down to the way the club has been run; the high manager mortality rate makes us an unattractive proposition but that's down to the owner's approach to hiring and firing. The truth is, club legend or not, SP has been unable to get this team playing for a full half season (3 in 24 is it now?) and is apparently resorting to desperate long-ball tactics which don't please anyone and don't yield results. People talk about achieving stability and building over time but there's no evidence of either so we can probably dismiss those now. frankly, anyone who can present a case for maintaining the status quo is living in a dream while the rest of us are enduring the nightmare.

Sorry lincs didn't read you're post right I think pearce might end up going aswell just want a bit of stability and really worried who we would end up with if he went if we got the wrong person in we could really end up in a relegation battle

Your probably right number 9 but I will say again who would replace pearce if he went and I remember the fester fans saying that about Pearson when he had a bad season they stuck with him and they got promoted if the people who wanted to get rid of pearce and come up with a decent manager to replace him maybe I would agree but don't think there's a decent manager out there to replace him

Skegness Vegas Joy. Leicester's 'bad season' resulted in playoff semi-final defeat. ours is likely to end up with relegation the way we're going! I desperately wanted SP to do well & agree that changing managers regularly isn't the way forward, however can anyone honestly see where or when the improvements are going to be!? The tactics and standard of football are getting worse every week!

Like the skeg Vegas joy bit lol Ashley I agree about tactics and the way we're playing but again and again who would we replace pearce with now at this stage of the season I am not disagreeing with fans but it could be a worse gamble to bring a new man in now unless Alex Ferguson or Martin oniell would take the job
