I read someone posted that the promotion challengers this season based on form so far are forest, Norwich and derby. I laughed when I heard this because derby have had no form that I have been able to see, you can't base promotion form on them beating a team that is struggling like Fulham who are basically playing a team of reserves. derby's form so far is struggled to beat Rotherham and scraped a 1-0 win, they then drew against sheff wed and lost against Charlton that's not great form in my opinion lol I am going to go out on a limb and say derby will not get promotion, its between forest, Norwich and Cardiff in my opinion

Ok but let's not get ourselves carried away either we beat a scrambled together Blackpool side then struggled against a league 2 side in the cup then had to come back to salvage a point against an incomplete Bolton team only playing well in patches we then got hammered at Bournemouth for 65mins before two clinical strikes gave us a smash and grab. And as for Reading they have injuries and we didn't play their best 11. We played well though. So I'd say it's a bit premature to say we are a team in form. Maybe after 15 games we can start to look at gelled teams etc. For now we are a new team with a new manager doing very well and looking good. Quietly confident. But it's 42 games to go we've played 7% of the season. Let's praise the team but not think about setting the bar too high. Take every game as it comes. In Pearce I trust. COYRS

They beat Rotherham one nil who are proving lots of people wrong this season ie they best millwall (unbeaten in 12) away from home. They thrashed Fulham yesterday and they got a good point against a Wednesday side who are going well too.
Yes we are going well and As much as I despise derby they will be right up there this season and four games in, this a bit of a naive post!!

{Ed034's Note - I really don't think they'll be able to last the distance.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic there ed I'm behind a promotion push all the way and think the squad looks amazing. But we were 10 points from 4 games last year and I just hope we keep a realistic sense of expectation so I don't have to take to twitter or on here to ask people to stop abusing players chairmen and staff haha its too early to rule out or rule in any team let's just enjoy the winning feeling and hope it takes us all the way to the prem

{Ed034's Note - there is a massive difference from last to this. We still have players coming back, we have two goalscorers upfront, we have pace on one wing, we have class on the other, we have options all over the pitch and we have a manager who is imaginative during games.
We would never have got anything out of the Bournemouth game last season, but to come out of it with all three points just shows the difference in our club this season

Mod Red you are spot on in my opinion. We have played 3 very poor teams and a Bournemouth team who I still don't know how we beat.
However, we can only play the teams as they come up, I think our relatively comfortable start has done us a real favour.
This is a very positive start, we will need to get better to beat both Wednesday and Sheep but we will get much better, with Lansbury especially returning, others still getting properly fit and the team continuing to gel.
We have to be happy but Sheep will be a big test, IMO the most difficult home game of the season, we can perhaps start to get a bit carried away if we win that one!

Agreed but two injuries up front and a few bad results people would be back to abuse. Like I say I'm staying cautiously optimistic and hoping for top 6

Automatic would be great but I would be equally happy with a play off place and be confident we could beat any team in the championship over 2 legs for the semi's, I know Its only 4 games in but I have witnessed the hard times at forest and now seeing good changes and a very strong team and am very excited so forgive me for the premature optimism lol COYR!
