Nigel pearsons no1 target if we don't make the prem is Henry landsbury, I have top information on this. things could be so much harder next season. we really have to throw caution to the wind now and attack.

How do you suppose we do that mick? We are playing the only available players we have! Henri needs to be offered a big contract sooner rather than later, but if Leicester come in for him we can't stop him from going. It's what happens every year the promoted teams cherry pick all the championships best players.

Losing Lansbury during the off-season is my primary concern now. I gave up on this season a while ago. Hard to imagine some lower tier Premier League clubs not coming in for him imo, and I can't help but think his head could be turned quite easily now that he's seen how terrible we are without him. He's really got nothing left to prove at this level. It's something we're going to be sweating over the whole summer, I fear.

If Lansbury does go, and we don't bring in a seriously high quality CM to replace him, I can see Pearce's managerial career at Forest getting off to a pretty rocky start.

He's one player. Reid was our biggest loss this campaign and it shows we should never rely on one player so much again.

Lansbury is set to be made captain by stuart pearce so cannot see him going anywhere.

I heard the same rumour from a friend of mine who`s a Leicester fan. I really think we`ll struggle to hold onto him but if he does go we to make sure we have a able replacement in before we let him go.

Lansbury will be Pearce's first signing (IMO) knows him well from the 21's and name checked him last week when asked if he would be encouraging punk music in the dressing room (Pearce said "i'll ask Henri!")

I can imagine he would have plenty of bottom feeder prem clubs after him but Pearce rates him highly and Lansbury rates Pearce, I'm sure Lansbury can be convinced to see the bigger picture that's it's only a matter of time before Forest are back in the prem no need for a short cut. With a few, an I stress only a few signings in the summer to add to an already quality squad and better luck with injuries we are title contenders no doubt. Relax Henry we will get you there and you will be out talisman :)

This happens every year, some one will come in for our best players with the promise of premier football, we did it to boro & did try to get their best player in leadbetter but he & they said no, so we the club have to make sure we keep our best players give them better deals, we have lost some world class players down the years in kean, collymore, dawson, walker, but our club is still here.

Without a huge amount of luck Fester will be obliterated next season. They are weak at the back and when pressured in the final third they look very ordinary, as we showed this season as did several other teams.
I'm not sure they have the resources or club structure to weather a tough spell in order to get established.
The Sheepskin 11 points could be under pressure.

He'd rather go play for a struggling Premier League team that loses most weeks, I suspect. That's the choice most players seem to make, when confronted with this decision. If he has a good relationship with Pearce, maybe that'll help our course. Fingers crossed.
