john percy just tweeted reidy out for 2-3 weeks
, havin a hernia op

1.) 26 Feb 2014
I thought Reidy was out with a calf strain?

{Ed034's Note - they were waiting for results from the doctor

2.) 26 Feb 2014
Never rains but pours. COYR

3.) 26 Feb 2014
With all 3 midfield out long term and noone brought in ……. even the playoffs are starting to look distant! Oh dear!

4.) 26 Feb 2014
Billy said it was a thigh strain now it a hernia?

5.) 26 Feb 2014
Shows ya what Percy knows because it's 3-4 weeks

6.) 26 Feb 2014
Not for a hernia op. 10 days at most.

7.) 26 Feb 2014
This injury list is unbelievable! Sean Dyches comments make my blood boil even more!

8.) 26 Feb 2014
He's got a calf strain so will be out of action for a while so they are going to resolve a hernia issue at the same time. Makes sense

Andy Reid does have a calf problem which is expected to take around 2 weeks to recover from, he has also had problems with his hernia so they are doing a minor operation on it just to cure it and get that problem out the way whilst he is already sidelined! keep the faith.

10.) 26 Feb 2014
Drogba only took two weeks to recover from this.

11.) 26 Feb 2014
Fawaz, please, do something asap!
Forest Dane

12.) 26 Feb 2014
If we lose to Wigan they will be three points behind us with a game in hand. Can we wait for players to return from injury? Never mind automatic promotion we might be fighting to stay in the play-offs just like last season!

13.) 26 Feb 2014
It seems like the gods are conspiring against Forest just seems like its one bad thing after another. Surely behind the scenes at the City Ground the owner and manager are working their socks off to get some top quality midfielders in. Fingers crossed for some good news in the next few days be it injured players back or loan players coming in or both.

14.) 26 Feb 2014
Blimey! I hope all at the club don't panic like some of our supporters do?. keep the faith!. I should be a forest supporters doctor!. all will be well its in the mind!!. COYR

15.) 26 Feb 2014
As I said before, Forest are a one man team. No Reid, no creativity, no automatic promotion. Even Paterson looks ordinary without him.

16.) 26 Feb 2014
If we don't have a recall clause in the Gillett loan deal I bet Billy is kicking himself. We could do with a match fit Gillett right now!

17.) 26 Feb 2014
Until or if we get someone on loan, I would play greening. Been there, done that and an experienced head

18.) 26 Feb 2014
I can just imagine billy now. sat there thinking why did I loan gillet out. lol. I bet he hasn't even given it a moments thought. it is what it is.

19.) 26 Feb 2014
Two losses and a draw, before that we were world beaters, what a difference 10 days can make, the glass is still half full and so what if we don't make the at offs. The good days are coming one day soon, if you don't believe that you may as well give up.

20.) 26 Feb 2014

21.) 26 Feb 2014
Mig66 - how can u say we are a one man team. What about Lansbury, what about Paterson, what about mackie etc etc etc etc. And Paterson has only played one game without Reid where everyone had an off day. The first one in the league in about 14 by the way (which ain't bad). How can u say he looks ordinary.
I agree with u we are missing some big players but to call us a one player team is slightly over the top

Keeno

22.) 26 Feb 2014
I'm relieved that it's not longer!

23.) 26 Feb 2014
Well whatever players we use to try and keep the sixth playoff spot It will be without Wickham he's gone to Leeds

24.) 26 Feb 2014
So what if we don't make the play offs? Who do you support then?

25.) 26 Feb 2014
"Until or if we get someone on loan, I would play greening. Been there, done that and an experienced head"

I agree he has the ability and experience. His match fitness will take time to come though due to a lack of games and at his age it takes longer.

26.) 27 Feb 2014
Agreed with that one man team comment unti you mentioned mackie. I know people rave on about his work rate doesn't make him a good player though (go on ed slate me)

27.) 27 Feb 2014
Just read report reid out for three to four weeks, we will miss him for sure. However if we can get a result against wigan andsome reinforcements in, we can still be up there.

28.) 27 Feb 2014
I think I'd be looking to start Greening, to steady the ship, even if it's just 45 minutes. Hopefully his match fitness will return then.

29.) 27 Feb 2014
Time for Abdoosh to step up. let's hope he can have a good 6weeks.

30.) 27 Feb 2014
Abdoun in reidy's role could be a master stroke.

31.) 27 Feb 2014
There'll never be a better time to get behind the team. still time to achieve top 6. next year for sure FTID

{Ed034's Note - well said that fan

32.) 27 Feb 2014
Perhaps Mackie in as an end to end midfielder in the middle. His work rates there and he doesn't mind the physical stuff. I'm sure the manager must be thinking how he can use the players he's got to best effect as well as looking at the loanarket.

33.) 27 Feb 2014
Anyone got any updates re Pep Guediora?

34.) 27 Feb 2014
Reidy has had this problem with his hernia since October. About time it was sorted really.
