Ok. following on from my 8am announcement that a shirt deal would be announced today I can now reveal that we should be signing Carl Baker from Coventry City.
An offer has gone in to the stricken West Midlands club.
Can't say too much but he should be with us by end of Friday if he passes a medical and Cov accept our fee

BTW. Lewis will be out of the door by Monday. News tonight that he wants too many pennies to stay. Villa are one team he is being touted to.

Stricken? They have sorted new owners and ground problems and Baker signed new contract recently. Lot of ifs and maybes.
