Said it before and I’ll say it again, could’ve got Jack Marriot for the same transfer fee. Albeit Marriot rising to £6m dependant on appearances, goals etc; but he is into double figures goals wise, plays every game and never stops running and chasing down. Soudani is a dud, spends most of his time on the injured list and is a waste of money.

I'd say he wanted him as he tried to get him in the Jan window along with Dawson.
You've got to admit mate he is crap,one and a half millions worth as well.
THE point your missing is that karanka wanted so many out the door without giving a chance to most.
He got a superb performance out of the players he inherited against wolves so wholesale changes in the worst transfee window was not the answer,lolley being the only exception even with all his new additions he set a record that I doubt will be beaten for not scoring,his legacy is I'm afraid going to cost us,we can't be far off ffp now.

Some of the duff signings were an act of sheer petulance after the Preston game which then became a grudge in the Summer. I still think the club signed the players but karanka probably insisted he wanted new players to replace all of those he bore a grudge against. Reality is most of them are worse than what we had before . Lord , what a mess again.

After he spent 13.5 mill on carvalho everyone doubled there asking price when we showed interest, that deal should if been kept quiter, we were offered Marriott at 7 mill derby paid 3 mill plus add one same with bamford I'm sure I remember 14 mill being the price we were asked for yet he went to Leeds for 7 mill paying way over the odds for carvalho for everyone to see made your transfer business nearly impossible

It is interesting to watch people who were so utterly convinced we were moving forwards with AK now deciding the club is in a mess and making a lot of poor signings.

If we were making such great progress how come suddenly the same squad with players added (apart from Fox) is a bunch of "duds"?

Ain't it all down to the players not performing last time I looked they are the ones on the pitch problem is the players they know their safe and its the manager who'll get the sack fare enough manager sets them up and provides the tactics but they have to show so character and some passion.
