Seems like Curtis Davies has stuck his neck out on the forest Aitor aituation on radio 5 live. if what he heard is true then it's a shambles and karanka was right to jump ship!

Why would we take his word for it, karanka left cus 1 he felt pressure cus of his own performance ie not good enough 2 cus that what he does when the going gets tough an 3 him an the board have probably seen things differently, I feel he’s slapped the fans in the face that shown all that support to him when he was rumoured to be sacked cus the timing of him walking is crap he could of done it straight after the Leeds game or even the chelsea 1 why wait till the day before another game?

Why would you take a papers take on it over a player who will hear the truth?the dail Mail is the most inaccurate paper of them all having the most complaints about failed stories,that includes the sun.
When karanka took the job was he told there would be a director of football being appointed?a lot of managers don’t like being dictated too on who they can and can’t sign so maybe this has been a problem for some time with mendes and the Portuguese lads.will we ever hear the truth,I very much doubt it.papers can write what they want with very little backlash,players going out of there way to say things is risky for there career.

So long as we get either
Jokanovic or o neil in I'll be happy.
First choice jokanovic he knows the championship
And will be familiar with the players at forest so should be able to hit ground running. Couple of quality signings and we could gate crash the top 6.

Why would he be familiar with the players?he would of seen them play and know there names but does he know there characters or know how to man manage those characters,will he have there trust from the start or will some still be sulking after being brought to te club by karanka?theres many variables to a new man coming in at this time of the season and is hard for that man to hit the ground running as he has to do a preseason in a couple of days or a week!

Sutton why would you take the word of a derby player?do you think he has the best interests of our club at heart ? And you really need to get over this mail phobia not so long back on here you were slating the mail for a negative story about forest only in a later post to admit it was the mirror the story appeared in! What has davies got to gain?he still has a career and if he was there talking rubbish people could make his life very difficult.he will hear the truth as players have friends from all clubs.

Sutton I don’t take the sun but my guess is outside the mail it sells 3 times as many papers as the rest put together. Do remember the mirror though printing fake pictures of British soldiers supposedly abusing Iraqi civilians, when lads were still fighting out there ,though, then having to sack their editor, so there’s 1 paper I will never touch, as for Curtis Davis trying to spread unrest at a local rival and play off competitor comes to mind,
