Sounds like we sorted out our defensive frailties with today's selection and now have a solid foundation upon which to build. Just now need to start taking our chances from the possession this platform provides.

Onward and Upwards.

If Aitor makes 5 more changes in the next game where will the solid foundation be.

Red your right something to build on defensively, but he will have to make changed for a home game as it needs more creativity to break a team down but good point today and something to build on

If those chances Osborn had fell to any of the other forward players we’d probably have won today. I would probably swap him for Carvalho (for creativity) then it comes down to guedioras fitness.

No way should Osborn be dropped for carvalho at the moment- no way. Makes me laugh out loud how our most consistent performer makes way for someone just because we’ve blown half of our budget on him. Osborn barley puts a foot wrong no matter where he’s asked to play

They weren't clear cut chances my friend not even half chances to be fair,it was a game that had nil nil written all over it,their goalie had to Make a few saves but not really hard to keep out.
To be honest if you were a neutral fan, you'd have left or turned off by half time, just being honest,it wasn't pretty or exciting to watch, just workman like.

Ff Osborn was no more than 15 yards out when he kicked one chance straight to the keeper, and when he sliced another chance it was not a awkward angle just left of the goal. Another game Osborn might put both away.

I apologise I wasn't at the game but I'm pretty sure if you ask Osborn he would be disappointed not to have tucked away 1 of those 3 chances. A confident Grabban also takes his chance. Not to be but it will come.

Osborn has been the best player in a poor side for the last 3 or 4 years - that doesn't mean he's a world beater though. Although the results aren't quite there yet, we have much better players now and Osborn, although solid and consistent, is limited in what he does - to say he barely puts a foot wrong is blinkered to say the least.

We have better players now and Carvalho is a class above - he just needs some time to adjust and other players to get on is wavelength. He should be one of the first names on the teamsheet in my opinion.
