I'm going to put a different spin on things because the negativity is annoying me now.
Personally, before the season even started I thought we may start slow. We have been majorly struggling on and off the pitch for years now and things are not just going to get better overnight even with money spent. Instead of calling for sack the manager every time things get difficult, how about we get behind a manager for once and try and build something?

For me promotion this year is not a must, it's the toughest league in the world IMO. I been reading this site for years now and as soon as things get tough, you all call for a manager change!

I agree it's been shocking in parts so far and after the best part of 2 decades of suffering I understand how fans can get so easily frustrated.
But really do think we have to give him time to try and build something. We have had major surgery the last 12 months and just because we've spent a bit of money, people assume we will be right up there right away? Not going to happen in this league.

Let's build something because constantly sacking managers over recent years has got us nowhere!,

While agree sacking managers doesnt always work, but give me one reason why karanka should be different?
His win rate is appalling
He's had more riches than any of his predecessors
So what makes him different and why do you think he can build anything ?
Just asking ?
It's not negative,it's just asking what he brings to the table that makes him special.
As a season card holder I can't see it

Its not the forest fans in the main calling for promotion this year. Its the owner and even karanka. The players joining the club say its the aim of the club. Mkst of us just want to see improvement and attacking football on matchdays. The fans would not have sanctioned £13mill for a prospect with little first team experience. I get fed up with people calling some of our posts negative, when we just reflect on what we see. Good or bad most posters give an honest opinion. Brian clough said the only thing the board or chairman have to do is appoint the right manager. Twice we have over looked warnock. I will end it there!!!!

Rutland I have Warnock from the Sheffield united days can't stand the bloke but can he do a good job would he have this team sorted by now hell yes I would put up with him just to see forest playing his way

Completely agree.
Sacking managers does nothing except start the whole thing again. Have people not learnt from the Fawaz days?
What we need is stability and continuity if we want this time to be different, for the players to be given time to adapt and for the results to come, eventually.
Rushing in to sacking people ain’t good

Karanka is awful tho! Can we get a decent manager and have stability! Won't forgive him for selling Brereton

Karanka has only had those riches for 5 games, were not even out of August yet although we have only one once we haven't lost either.

Give the guy and the team a chance so many new faces it wasn't going to be champagne football from the start was it. Isolated fan has got it 100% right.

Apparently now when we score goals its lucky but when the opposition do its nailed on. You wouldn't want to come on this site if you were on the edge would you:)

Statetheobvious How long has Lampard had with Direby? Still bagged more wins, goals scored and none of the resources AK has had. Early days or not AK completely unconvincing. He has been lucky we have bagged some draws. More luck than judgement. And to think the bread man had no plan b, I'm yet to see Karanka offer anything different. DF managed to create a tight defence with limited resources. I have always said 8 games and if no improvement move him on. Hard league or not, we should be looking at top 3.

Leeds new manager has managed to get the team to gel quite quickly

I just wish some fans on here just had 5 games on here to make some sense instead of blowing in the wind and bubbles.
Last season AK gave everyone including Brereton a chance and has chosen to change the squad further over the summer.

5 league games unbeaten and new players only just getting up to speed.
You will never know how good or bad AK is until matchday 46 so just wind it in and stop behaving like demented sheep!

We never found out how warbo would have fared and he only had one transfer window and made a 10 million profit on transfers.
He had 22 games last season as well and took us from mid table to the verge of relegation and now holds the record for the worst run in our history.
How can we gel when he makes so many changes and that's when we are undefeated.
Last season he beat wolves we then list to hull he spat his dummy out and dropped loads and bought loads in.
Eric got sent off against Burton and that was the end of him.
No improvement whatsoever,we know how bad he can be that's in his win ratio and boring tactics.
We can't keep clinging on to the fact he got Boro promoted and that makes him a good manager,it doesn't.
He has to start winning games red surely you can see that??

Ff799,
Your shares in Warburton are toast. Jason Cummings sums up your mate doing a storm in League 1.
You are clutching at straws with your stats. Last season was sorting out the dross which includes upgrading on Eric who does not release or close the ball quickly enough.
You are asking for injury trouble trying to play the same side for 3 marches in 8 days at the start of the season especially when some newbies did not join until late.
We have already had forced changes through injury so we were never going to hit the ground running.
Of course he needs to start winning games but calling him out after 5 league games is just ridiculous?

It's not five games it's twenty seven .
Forced changes through injury??
Was lolley injured ?
Was Calvalho injured
Was Osborn injured
He had two injuries and made six changes and the only thing that is really letting us down and as a constant is the defensive partnership of figs and fox plus the lump of lard in goal.
Are you sure your not related to him as you have more excuses than a little and nothing to convince anyone this guy knows what he's doing

Redinexile, you have it right mate, Hef and Byram came in late, Aitor didn't want to chuck them straight in for league games makes sense. The players will take time to adjust to each other for sure.

I've already said about patience, and as everyone else says, we're all entitled to our opinions but to be talking about chopping managers, slating managers and players this early in is an absolute joke, just my opinion. We need stability and time not the knee jerk reactions of old, I'm sure and hope all will come good.

We all want the same success but I guess that's the only thing we can all agree on these days:)
