Kept us 6 clean sheets so he can’t be that bad can he? Plus with Dawson in defence we’ll be even more solid.
Back 4 of Darikwa/Fabio, Figs, Daws and Robinson with Costel behind sounds fairly solid to me.

I think he’s arguably the best keeper we’ve had since Camp. He has presence, talks to players and is commanding, which make the defence more confident and play better as a unit. Smith’s biggest downfall was that he relied on being a shot stopper and didn’t work with the defenders to prevent shots/chances. The best way to save a shot is to stop it happening in the first place.

We are also linked with Bruno Valera (Benfica GK, 23-years-old, they want 15m for him apparently - suggests he is of good quality).
Could we be signing Pantilimon as a 2nd choice GK?

J65, i seriously doubt Pantilimon would agree to join us to be second choice, if we have €15 to spend on a goalkeeper why have not been interested in better strikers than we have been linked to.
