I do not know how true it is but Middlesbrough are looking to off load Grant Leadbitter for a minimal fee, both Forest and Sunderland are wanting him.

Villa need to slash the wage bill and if it was just case of wages and no fee,then that would be a good deal alround.
10 goals a season creative midfielder, just the job and still relatively young.

I never wanted him to go in the first place fF, Landburys home is forest and we would not have struggled so badly with him here. We’d have still been poor but we’d have won a few more games. One of those typical instances where none of the four parties involved (clubs, player, fans) have benefited . A lose lose situation .

Am in agreement regarding Henri.He was always totally committed to us . Still only 27 and at 6ft could do the business. We made a profit selling him to the Villans and could have him back on a free. And a goal scorer! Makes sense all round.

Never been replaced even though we signed all those midfielders.
Good at dead ball situations and gives that quality pass and knows when to play a ball or keep it, get him back.

Very inconsistent. Apparently very good at looking flashy on the training ground, didn't always bring it to the pitch. I'd rather stay away, there's a reason he can't even get on the bench at Villa.

Lansburys got talent alright,Bruce just bottled it in the end playing one up top,who was on loan and dismissing attacking football with hogan and Kodja and the likes of lans bury for workhorses like houlrahan and Snodgrass,had the firepower but was afraid to use it.
Got what he deserved as a manager,just the p45 waiting now.
