Karanka has some big decisions to make this Summer. We can't afford to have our most valuable players e. g. Worrall, Brereton and Osborn on the subs bench. If they are not good enough for a regular start every week then surely we could use the cash for Osborn to buy a quality GK LB CB etc and loan out Brereton and Worrall to a team like Peterborough and get in Marriott and Maddison. I certainly wouldn't want us to sell Ben or Joe as another year playing regularly will only see them improve but I can't see them getting regular game time at Forest.

Exactly f78. I for one won’t be happy if they play every week based on last season performances. I haven’t brought a Season ticket to watch Brereton need 10 chances to score . We need goals and lots of em!

2star Forest do need to score lots of goals, that would be brilliant, the entertainment, it helps with goal difference, there would be a full City Ground every home game, creating a atmosphere that would unnerve a lot of teams.

Forest also need to play as a team so they will not concede too often, there is definitely a lot to be worked on over the summer.

Who cares what the football is like as long as we reach the promised land,I honestly would take 1-0 every week, for club our size we must be playing in the premier league.
Sell Osborne, keep Ben and Joe but send em out on loan to league 1,spend Osborne's cash on a decent keeper.

AK had decided who he wanted in his team long before the season finished. Just a question now of getting the deals over the line after June 30th. His biggest job is to offload all the ones he doesn't want to play for Forest, and that will take more than 1 transfer window. Rebuilding the club is going to take a lot longer than some on here think.

Daz No. 9, i think you will find 2star's point is two fold, the first being we concede so many, even under Karanka who is considered Mr Defensive therefore we need to start scoring plenty of goals, secondly although i think most would take winning 1-0 every game, we, in an ideal world want to be thrilled with plenty of goals in the for column.

What is wrong with that?

Personally I do care what the football is like!

I don’t want us to become a hoof ball club, or a dull as dishwater 1-0 grinding out games club. I want entertaining and attractive football.

If that means it takes us longer to get to the promised land then so be it

RAP, or you could look at it like this: To get out of the Championship we Win at all costs, be it 1-0 wins, or hoof ball if need be. Once promotion has been gained then, in theory we can then afford the players that are capable of playing entertaining football. Sadly more and more managers are becoming possession is king, even if it is for the sake of it so even then will we get entertainment.

I’d still rather we stuck to our philosophy and played attractive football, maybe that’s just me.

As Sir Brian said, “ if God had wanted us to play football in the clouds, he’d have put grass on them”

Phil, I don’t disagree with the sentiments , when though did we last play good football? Ps anyone else spot win at all costs sneaky self publicising moment in his post ? I like it pal! 👍

What is forest’s philosophy?
So Phil if it was a choice of playing good attacking football and staying in the championship or not so good football and winning 1-0 and going up you would choose to stay in the championship?
you’d rather see teams like Ipswich and Brentford coming to the city ground than Man City and Man U?
Utter madnesss

Yes, I’d much rather we stay in the championship rather than play hoof ball to get promoted, then get battered week in and week out because we weren’t good enough.

Far better to build a good football playing side who could at least survive in the Premier league, and not just do a Derby

It’s good to be entertained but I’ll settle for competitive as that would be an improvement. God we’ve seen some dross of late haven’t we!

I'm with you red army,I like to be entertained and wolves and Fulham have proved you can be succesfull by doing so.
Always prefer a manager to let the players go out and express themselves and let the opposition worry about us.

Last time we played really entertaining football? was under pshyco until Cohen assombologa and Reid got injured, with Antonio and lansbury that was a good side.
Injuries wrecked what could have been a successful side.

I’ve agreed with 2 far and ff799 👍 something must be happening behind the scenes!! Has my water been tampered with, have the Russians been messing with my social media or is the real red army gathering force?? I’ll know somethings wrong when skeggy gets me to give prince billy the thumbs up and he declares he’s off the Stella 🍻
