Apparently Dowell is refusing to sign a new Everton contract. One year left, so only compensation to pay. Any Reds fancy a punt or maybe not an AK player? Early season Dowell, yes please but properly went off the boil at the end. Thoughts?

A talented player there is no doubt just needs a good manager to develop such as AK, and a sound investment. If he opted to stay that world say a lot for AK as he hardly played him

Not for me, he needs to improve a lot on his physicality and mental side of the game. He has moments of class but we need consistent performers with some grit.

Not tough enough for the Championship, doesn't run back and tackle, gives the ball away too much. Keep well away I'd say.

We have plenty of our own youngsters on whom we need to help improve and reap the benefits. I say he should seek improvement elsewhere.

Saying our academy products are not good, because they are not as good as Ryan Sessegnon is like saying Harry Kane isn't good because he's not as good as Messi.
