We may not have the best squad in the Championship but we now have a squad of determined good characters who play as a team.

Thank you AK for turning us around and getting the basics sorted!

Win lose or draw we are are moving forward as a team.

Looking forward to your summer signings and getting some big lads in including my 6'5" centre half?

Are you Karankas dad?
We win 4 out of 18 and that's moving forward?

AK’s a good manager he needs to have a summer window to work on who he wants to sign instead of rushing for deals like in January. Also, I feel a full pre season under him will do the players some good. I expect a RB, CB, LB, CM, Winger and striker (or 2) to come in. But these will all be good quality players.
In terms of outs smith, Lichaj, manc, Hobbs, Colback (end of loan), Vaughan, Cohen (he’ll be a coach which I think he is doing now while getting/keeping fit), McKay, Murphy , Vellios and possibly Brereton so then we’d need to sign 3 strikers. Then Ward, walker, Clough, Traore will all leave.

It is moving forward.
Yes we lost yesterday, but from the game I watched we were pretty bloody good for really quite long spells of the game.
There were some frailties in defence, but we moved the ball well and put some good pressure on a team looking for auto promotion.
Our play leading up to the goal was sublime.
AK will no doubt have a plan for the squad in the closed season and hopefully will be backed by the owner.
I’m happy with what I’ve seen and that we will be far more competitive next season

Results at this stage are an irrelevant stat. The performances show that we are improving but it is the players Karanka has inherited that are the problem which he will obviously sort out in the summer.

Karanka clearly has a plan which is evolving which his predecessors never had which is why I am backing him to get up up into the top six next year!

Hope your right red,I just don't think he'll turn us round and can't see where the money will come from to sign quality players.
We all know managers prefer their own players, but they all inherit players, warbo did as well.
Most the squad are contracted and it's not easy to move so many players in one go.
If he wants a small squad of players that can play in different positions, that tells me we won't be signing quality.
Far as I'm concerned a striker is a striker and a defender is a defender, utility players do a job,but without being good enough to make it count when needed.
If he carries on bringing in old players then we'll always have injuries and most will be here for one last payday.
When you say performances ,then you mean last night's,because if you have been to the city ground lately, you will know performances have been dreadful and he's played at least five of his signings in those games.
So for me I'm not witnessing anything better than I've seen since Billy,of anything at times it's worst

Warburton had a plan as well. And he got more points per game than Kranky.
He only had one window as well!!

That said hope Kranky gets summer to sort us out for next season.

Things may not have worked out for Karanka as much as we had hoped,
but he did see the problems with the team and tried to rectify them in a quite no nonsense way, which leads me to thinking he will know the problems he has at the moment and will address them in the same manner he did before.

So I would expect a competitive squad to be assembled for next year.

Well then enjoy 2 star and he'll make Osborn one as well covering for anything down the left or midfield,is that really the way forward???
