Is there something in the modern coaching manual that reads, on no account do you play with two up front? All our recent managers have played with a solitary striker, WHY. Away probably but not at home. Goals win games and we always seem to isolate the striker. How did Ferguson win so much, believe it or not, 442. What a crying shame its no longer seen as the fashionable way to WIN games.

So baffled as to why he persists with one up,especially when you see it's Not working.

No he didn't tap but always had 2 strikers on the pitch the idea being the wide striker came in to support the lone ranger.
What Karanka is serving up is far worst than anything warbo did.

Well what is there to say about our beloved club?
In a nutshell I think another relegation battle is afoot.
No passion no balls from the squad.
Krankie putting out a team who lost to Preston.
Lurch in goal!
We are yet again looking towards division 1 if we keep on performing like we have been.

These formations in modern football are OK if you have the players who are capable have pace and are skillful etc.
Krankie please please go back to basics and play 442.
Get rid of Manc to the bench and demote him of his captaincy.... Again no balls no passion or spirit.... His get up and go left town ages ago.
I wanted Krankie to to be successful but I'm having doubts on how he operates and thinks.

Should of kept Brazil in charge then in the summer go for a decent English manager.
If we lose to Burton I believe it will down down down with the way these players are at present... No confidence no Guile no balls.
