I hear forest are looking at a free agent forward and a centre back (wollscheid who use to be at stoke) . Karanka isn't messing around. We have a championship quality midfield now and hopefully we can make colback a permanent signing. Now we need a more dominating striker and centre back.
Hopefully we sell Darikwa, Hobbs, fox, velios, henderson, evtimov and boukarlakis in the summer. Vaughan and cohen to stick around in a supporting role. I like Dowell but don't think everton will sell. Smith to go out on loan. Keep mckay and cummings as both can stretch defenders.

McKay and Cummings are lightweight, they can go back to Scotland. We will have trouble shifting Darikwa, Vellios and Bouchalakis. I'd hang on to Evitmov. We won't have pots of money to spend this year anyway.

Think it's getting out of hand now.just signing anyone, not impressed at all.
We havn't got time for experimenting with different line ups every week and hoping he comes up with the right formula.
The squad needed some additions granted, but not this many and out of work at that.
If this was fawaz doing this you'd all be up in arms.

Sorry FF Disagree with you. We needed major surgery. Sinking fast. Drastic measures needed and that is what we have.
Not all of the signings will work but the large majority will. I am much more optimistic than I was before January.

That's not surgery it's a sticky plaster to put over the cracks.

Really disagree with you here, we needed new players in as in goal, defence and midfield we were struggling and getting out grunted.

We have now until April, a couple of months and most players are on loan anyway and I think we are the stronger for it now, give the guy a chance.

I was the same as you and thought we got rid of MW too soon as it was just a continuation of the revolving door management policy we seemed to have adopted. He should have at least had till the Summer but know most didn't think so.

But he has gone now, we have a new manager and think we should all be supporting him and the team and new players, but I get the distinct feeling you are not thinking the same and almost coming across a bit bitter fella.

It is worrying. On paper the team has been improved however so many new faces is a big risk. let's hope the majority can hit the ground running. For now, we just have to trust the AK knows what he's doing.

No, a sticking plaster would have been a couple of token signings and keeping on our deadwood!
This has been a major overhaul, that much is obvious!
We clearly needed something drastic after the shocking display. We know the team were capable of playing, hence the other great results, but that just showed an utter lack of interest. We didn’t need those types of player at the clib

Gingerkid it's a banter site?
Be interesting to see the comments after the game tomorrow, especially if we were to lose again
Loans and short term deals cost m9ney as well and is only a quick fix with no thought for the future.
All about opinions mate, but remember it is a banter site😉😉

If warbo had the balls to do this and bought these players in ff would be creaming over the signings and not a bad word said about it!

FF79, yes we have loan players that are for the short term, and in the meantime the manager can look to replacements even now ready for the summer, if those loans, Colback aside work out, who knows.

Montanier did the same bringing in loans from overseas,You all called him for that,so what's the difference?
Looking forward to seeing how we accomodate these players colback geddy and Watson should run midfield and genuinely looking forward to seeing those three plus tomlin or Lolly, they are the good signings if it knits together.
The others don't improve the squad at all.imo.

Pantilimon has played in the Premiership, Kapino has played in the Champions League, Fuentes has played in La Liga.

Had we heard of most of the Frenchmans signings.?

For the first time in my present existence I have to agree with Ginger Kid.

Had you heard of kapino oriented before the other day?
And be honest ?
Well there were 1 Greek international striker and Swiss international who both played champions league.
A Portuguese international who played for Porto and in champions league.
A Finnish international who played Dutch premier league
And a striker who plays for napoli in See is A.
Pedigree there but didn't turn out well.

FF79 clearly stuck in the Fantasy Fawaz World of plate spinning and sucker signings from his entourages recommendations!

The difference is that the new manager has either worked with or scouted these players himself and knows the type of player needed to complete in this league.

Before Christmas it was clear we needed to get rid of at least 12 players from our squad come summer. The fact that the clear out has started earlier and supplemented by loan signings shows to me just how comfortable the Fawaz squad had got and that we were on a hiding to nothing with them this season and would be in the same position as last year come May.

At least AK has signed players he trusts to get the job done rather than trying to polish *urds?

Kapino and Figueiredo are the only players out of the ten I haven't heard of before. The rest I've heard of and I think that we are getting better quality than we have let go. We know what we are getting with the majority of the new lads. The signings we got with Montanier/Fawaz I didn't have a clue who any of them was. Karanka is ruthless, swung the axe and was true to his word that we will be a stronger team after January. About time too in my opinion.

We will soon find out tomorrow physco.
It's on the pitch that matters and how we gel and perform.
Let's hope it all slots together and we perform as a team and not individuals.

Miserable I'm not far from it my freind, like I've said it's banter and football more than most subjects divides opinions ,especially in men.
It's a great day out if you want it to be,win lose or draw I enjoy my day.
It's part of me and part of my life since I was 9 years old,51 years and counting.
Seen it all the good the bad and Preston.
So Mr Karanka owes me one for that performance and hull and back, but let him off with that one at £10.50 .
Plus a great day out with all the old boys.
So with all these new boys time to krankit up.
