Does anyone know why Lolley wasn't in the squad on Saturday? I haven't heard anything as to why he wasn't.

Anyone know why we've even signed him? His goal record is woeful and the HTFC fans were wetting themselves on Twitter. also 4.5yr contract?

I think a 4.5 year contract is too long for any player.

The manager must think his all round games will make the team stronger, and that is what is the aim, only time will tell.

Firstly agreed Robby was the King!
Secondly I’ve never really heard much of him, but the thing to understand with contracts is that an agent comes with a total figure in mind as well as a weekly wage, sometimes this doesn’t work for the club. As a compromise the overall fee stays the same a club draws this out over a longer contract. This way the player, especially one in the twilight of their career is guaranteed the same pay, but just gets it over a longer term or as we do often do pay them off.

Binns, that makes a lot of sense, it just shows how highly the manager thinks of him.

HTFC fans loved him last season and was highly thought of. he is a winger btw not a striker so yes his goal scoring record isn’t great but he isn’t a goal scorer. I don’t know why he wasn’t involved in Saturdays team but heard he had a knock and wasn’t fully fit having played little for Huddersfield this season.

Well I read on some other Huddersfield sites that they were sorry to see him go, and a few said he was one of their better players. I saw more praise from the fans than good riddance! Also, isn't he only 25? If he comes in and does well, it could also be good business.

I love it when our "Fans" give new players a chance before writing them off 😪

Lolley has run us ragged down the flanks up at Huddersfield over 2 seasons and is just the pacey direct wide man we having been missing.

He is a vast improvement on Mustaphanothertouchandstop!

I have been up at Huddersfield for the last couple of aways and agree with Redinexile, give him a chance and get behind him and the rest of them too
was a little drunk last season though with the game being over Christmas but remember some of it lol

Maybe AK sees value in Lolley & with his age wants to tie him to a long contract with the possibility that bids may come in at a later date whereby the length of contract will effect (raise) the bid. I don't believe AK is naive on this.Lets see how Lolley fares.

The reason i do not like such lengthy contracts is thinking the worst will happen, if he get a bad injury and never really gets injury prone, you are stuck paying a player who nobody wants, and who will not retire.
