Darikwa has to be the worst right back I've ever seen at this football club.
Couldn't even do a throw in to a team mate.

Warburton deserved the sack just for signing him!

He definitely didn't pick the best plyers available. Maybe we could say he hasn't had long with the players but:

Darikwa NOT Lichaj
Vellios NOT Brereton/Walker
Fox NOT Traore
McKay NOT Osbourne (who was out of position HE IS NOT a holding midfielder he is an attacker FFS!)

Four selection errors is pretty bad! Almost the same mistakes the previous boss was making but all in the same match. At least Warbo used to only do one or two of the above joke decisions per game.

I know it's early but am starting to be a little worried about Karanka already. He was my absolute first choice and I was so excited when he took over! Like I said it's early but I at least expected him to play the right players in the right positions and make us solid in defence!

Give the guy a chance. He's experimenting with the team, he'll come good. The players are the ones that need to take the flack, regardless of who he picks to play, some of them are just not good enough. Big clear out needed in the summer.

I will say this again, anyone doubting the manager already is crazy, its part of the reason we are in this mess because of the changes over the years. Anybody with common sense will realise its going to take at least a year to progress. To much short sightedness on here i'm afraid.

AK stated he would give every player a chance and he has.
must admit when I saw Darikwa on the team sheet last night I was gutted and, yes he was very poor, but he had his chance.
get behind the manager and players as we will improve under him.
let's not forget he has inherited a squad brought in by 7 different managers before him

Karanka is testing the water as any new boss in any industry will do. Unfortunately most of this lot could not raise their game and show the new boss the bottle required even if their life depended on it.
Manci ain't no captain. He does his best but does not have the leadership skills required as he like most of them cave in to quickly.
Karanka I believe now knows what is required and sorry to say he is in probably a worse situation with a new club that he has ever been in before as even with Middleborough he had a basis to work with. Its going to be an interesting second half to the season

"let's not forget he has inherited a squad brought in by 7 different managers before him".

That is exactly the reason why we DIDN'T need a new boss. Next boss we have a team build by 8 different managers before him. It has to stop somewhere

With you all day there cyclist.
All we've got now is a new manager saying one minute he has a talented squad and the next ripping into them, which they deserve, but will do nothing for getting any sort of team spirit.
So then we bring in some Journey men loans again,We are back to where we were 12 months ago.
It didn't work then and won't now.
We have to stick with Karanka whatever happens otherwise we will never see if he can be succesfull long term.
