Anybody knows if owners are cash strapped or are we still worried about FFP. Hence lack of spending ability.

Read a rumour the owners were surprised Warburton spent so little in the Summer.

Warbo asked for more money at rangers so I doubt he would spend less than he was allowed to.rangers had a budget and he knew about this when he took the job he then had to ask for more money because the players he bought in weren’t good enough to compete at te top of the spl!

You are aware that Rangers were in a better league position than now and the Scottish Cup Champions when Warburton left?

{Ed007's Note - They won the Scottish Challenge Cup, when they were in the Scottish Championship, which was nothing but a tinpot cup for the teams in the lower divisions in Scotland - it's about level with the FA Vase or that Johnstone's Paint trophy down there - and they were in 3rd position when Warburton left, they finished the season in 3rd and they're in 3rd position right now.}

I would of thought Karanka would of been in for one or two players by now so the owners could be a bit cash strapped nobody’s saying anything so it’s all guess work

Marinakis has plenty of money, don't worry about that. Net worth is something like £500 million.

We’re never going to make the playoffs so in my opinion there’s no need to panic buy. Let’s start building for next season. As long as we don’t get relegated this season not really bothered where we finish.

As a certain manager once said "I hope no one is stupid enough to write us off" COYRS!!!

Impossible to say for certain, but I’m confident AK wouldn’t have taken the job and speak so highly of “the right project” if there was no money to spend.

There was a report recently which said he was looking to buy players from Spain. I’d wager the time it’s taking is more down to the complexity of the deals as opposed to a lack of cash.

Just my thoughts though.

Redcyclist are you aware that those players that are worse this season are the ones he bought in for over his budget.you do also realise that because of his overspending and poor management the club is now skint and have had to sell there better players because of this?

Think your right billybong, god forbid we buy anymore homesick,Scottish lightweights. The owners not cash strapped, the academy talent is coming through and we now have a proper manager in place.
Why would you spend millions for rival failures, we might just have the right mix. As a realistic supporter, I was more than happy to settle for a mid table and a progressive season, however with the previous incumbent in charge that was never going to happen. The dressing room now must be a happy place,every player now seems to played on merit.

There's no point in going out and spending millions in this transfer window. If we can snap up a couple of bargains that will improve the squad then great, but focus on cementing mid table and then the rebuild can really begin in the summer. Certainly don't want no panic buys like Murphy.

You all must have great faith in Karanka after the win at wolves because 2 months ago fans were screaming out for 5-6 new players I think we need at least 3 more experienced players in by the end of the transfer window and if we don’t I hope it doesn’t back fire on us players always give there all for a new manager in the first 4-5 games the thing is can they keep it up till January because if we can’t and go on a bad run we could be in trouble

Well Ed007, it obviously made no difference sacking Warburton then. :)

{Ed007's Note - They moved up to the dizzying heights of joint 2nd last night!}

Rangers were in financial trouble a long time before Warburton. And yes, Rangers are still struggling. Warburton to blame? I don't think so.
