If true yeah, could do with the extra talent and firepower for the remainder of the season if possible

I'd say so yes. The few posters that complained He's keeping Clough out of the team may disagree but Sunday proved they can both start even though Clough looked lost on the left.

What's the question?

Imo great news but if he's not performing Clough and Osbourne can do his role as attacking midfielder probably Cashy as well. That,in my book,is good competition and should the lad on his toes!

My question is Gazza does everyone think this is good news ? I know some think KD has limited progression of clough etc.

As long as he learns that his team mates tend to play in the same colour as he does and not the oppositions colours.

Clough not good enough at the mo.
Not seen him have a good game since he’s been here. Was the star at Bolton but out of his depth at Forest.

Clough did ok on Sunday on left but he hasn’t played enough so his touch was heavy, give him some more game time to sharpen up. I think him and Dowell behind a striker (Brereton being my choice though Murphy too) can work but can always push Osbourn up to left attack and bring Bridcutt in. Good news we have Dowell for rest of season as he has movement and vision others don’t, Cash, Oz and Bridcutt are all work horses and rely on energy but Dowell pulls defends, creates space and plays clever balls that split defence and we don’t really have others who can do that as consistently or as well.

Clough is an odd one, when I used to see him play for Bolton I was very impressed and believed he belonged at a higher level. However I've not got that opinion of him since he's been at Forest. He has had a good crack at the whip pre KD and didn't show too much. Hopefully he'll kick on under AK. I think it's a confidence thing with him, he really needs to back himself more.

I don’t doubt that Kieran Dowell is a fantastic player with great technical ability but we have Zach Clough. Clough showed glimpses of what he could do on Sunday, drifting in from the wing and carrying the ball up the pitch. I’d say karanka needs to give clough a chance and if he doesn’t perform then we have Dowell to fall back on.

Clough needs to do an Osborn: put on muscle, don't get pushed off the ball, increase pace and learn to tackle, and get back to help defenders. Then he might get into the starting XI.

Osborn muscle?
You wouldn't want to bump into him down a dark alley? He could get trod on.
Seen more muscle on a chicken leg.😀😀😀

Friends who are Everton fans want him back, I've told them he's not ready for the Prem. Finishing the season for us will give him a good grounding, getting on the bench and first team minutes at Everton is up to him. Looks like he is still 'growing up' to me and hopefully he plays even better for Forest, for the rest of the season.

The simple reason for Clough not playing is in fact Kieron Dowell. He’s so good that he’s keeping another good player out of the team.

Clough scored four goals in about 12 appearances last season, assisted with a few too.

Great that we’ve got Dowelll unto the end of the season though. Lucky to have him.
