Yes I know Roy Keane has strugged in management in the past but perhaps he is what these players need? Not to put too fine a point on it these players need a rocket up their collective backsides.

Something recent bosses at Forest have lacked is experience playing at the highest level. Keane has that and has hopefully learned something from Martin O'Neill during his time at Ireland!

Obviously O'Neill with Keane would be the dream ticket. Groom Keane for the job long term while he is assistant!

Kean was at the match on Saturday?

Keane maybe O'Neills assist with Ireland, however he is a Manager in his own right, cannot see him being an assistant at Forest. They both have well paid cushy jobs with Ireland and cannot see either of them coming to Forest. The Greek is not going to pay compensdation for them to come to Forest.

Well. If keane was at the match then he is obviously going to leave his international job and take over at a struggling championship club. Makes perfect sense

There is a difference between being strong and being a bully.
O'Neil definitely, Keane never for me.

I have been told the new contracts with Ireland have not been signed after they failed to qualify for the world cup. There would not be a big problem regarding compensation for that reason.

It doesn't matter who we get, Reddog. You always want them out within 6 months anyway. LOL

Keano is clueless, he just cannot man-manage whereas O'Neil can.

RC, I want what is best for the team I pay to support and will back a decent manager the same as the next man.
There is no such thing as a football club now it's a limited company that expects results to maximise profit.
I'm sure a clever guy like you already knew that though 😉
As a paying fan I have an opinion and I have felt (since the day he was disrespectful to Eric on the radio) that he was not right for the club.
Better being realistic than the "give him time" brigade

Keane is a thug. Remember what he did to haaland? I’d have O’Neill though.

Red dog, great post mate. You’ve summmarised perfectly what is expected of a manager to survive in the modern business of football.
