Hope we get bridgcutt. Just what we need.
If we get him I'd cash in on osbourne if Newcastle still offering over 5m.
Like a lot on here say. He flatters to decieve. Let's cash in and spend on better.
I hope mills does not play against borough.
Play Hobbs.

He would be a great signing and will fill the boots of Vaughan when he retires (he's not getting any younger) . However imo clearly we still need an experienced centre half, this will be the last piece in the jigsaw.

We need a GK too.

Honestly we just need someone to Organise us at the back. I've not seen Smith play recently but from memory he didn't seem too vocal. I remember Darlow being quite vocal, De Vries and Camp were too. If we have either a vocal defender that isn't Mills, who is only vocal to make up for his declining ability, or a goal keeper that tells the defence where to be and who to watch then I think we'll be more than fine. Having a defensive midfielder like Bridcutt filling the void could actually allow us to be even more attacking whilst being solid at the back. It's no coincidence that leicester got worse defensively and Chelsea got better with the arrival of a certain Mr Kante.

Agree, we need a leader. Roy Keane type for me. 👍.

Liam would be a great signing! i remember thinking this last season when we played them, he controlled the midfield and supplied support for the back four! in other news Snodgrass up for grabs, i'd have a cheeky bid even if we couldn't afford his wages!

Bridcutt would be a good addition, but don't get this witch hunt on Osborn, nor why most people can't spell his name? He's been one of our best players for the last couple seasons. Same people are ready to throw Lichaj overboard too. The grass ain't always greener.

Bang on binns.
People say smith is too small and doesn't command his box and come for crosses. yet people loved de vries who was all of 1inch taller who was a good shot stopper but you tell me how many crosses he came for, very little is the answer. he was always stuck on his line. when corners came in where was he? on his line. defenders shouldn't need to be told to jump for a ball and head clear that's basic defending isn't it?

Don't thinks it's a witch hunt on osbourn
He just hasn't progressed/ improved since breaking into 1st team. Not to what his early promise showed. And if Newcastle were willing to pay 5.75m for him. I think we should cash in.
We've got plenty of options in positions osbourn plays in.
Especially if we sign bridgcutt.

Fans wanted more end product from Osborn he created more chances than he ever has and he's not improved lol.

I don't usually comment but I feel compelled to back Osborn here, the lad has just turned 23, come through our academy, gives 100% every game and runs himself into the ground. He's the type of player we should be proud to have wear the shirt! He also gets played in numerous different positions, I feel personally he's an asset to the team.

Why though Kyle? You could pull on the shirt and give 100%. When is he no longer a youngster? 24, 25, 26v personally I think the he's only young heat reflecting umbrella has had its time. BTW I'm not against him but I think the time has come to stop using the he's only young card.

He turned 23 two weeks ago! Yes I'd say he's still young. Best years ahead of him!
