Come on you obviously don't think Warburton doesn't know our defence is bad if you moaners can see it I'm sure he can but like he said it's quality not quantity he wants and maybe he's not getting the money he needs to by the players he wants with the ffp if we was going to lose a game it was tonight for sure but I bet we bounce back with a win against Middlesbrough it's going to be a tough season that's for everyone in this league you only after look at some of the big teams results in this league mid table this season and all the better for the next one.

You think a big tall gestede and Britt won't put score us? lol. we conceded 3 against Brentford and two against Barnsley who got there first win last night and you think we will get something against boro. mancienne and Worrall a decent defenders but put mills between them and they become a poor unit.1 clean sheet this season and who didn't start that game? mills is too slow, gets caught out of position a lot, lost his man last night and against Brentford leading to goals where he ball watched. neddless free kicks given away because his decision making is poor which in turn leads to others having to fill in for him more than they should be.
But it's ok because he's vocal.

Clear demonstration last night that we need a CB and a GK. Smith is an excellent shot stopper and will only get better but last night his positioning was all over the place when balls were coming on to the area. There has to be many CBs out there better than Mills that are available at the right price. It's not just his poor performances but he yells criticisms at whoever he can when things aren't going well bringing down morale.

On Saturday when Middlesbrough come to the city ground I don't worry about Assombalonga but Gestede. He already has a good goal scoring record against us and he will do anything he wants against us if we defend anything like we have in our first 3 games, he will be winning every ball that comes into him leading to him nodding them in or down for someone else to score. This is my first post ever having a moan but last night really frustrated me as it's one of those games we should of won, one those games where we needed to be strong at the back and grind out a 1-0 but unfortunately this team didn't look capable of that. We have great a great attacking threat going forward but we're not always going to be able to outscore the other team. We need a strong commanding CB and a natural LB. Smith is not the weak link in the side and playing behind a solid defence will look as good as any top GK in this division, but those are just my opinions.

Omriftt I think if you add last seasons defence problems to those 4 games it's a valid point same defence same problems.

I thought mills wasnt too bad last night at Barnsley. The thing that cost us was having Mckay at left wing back! He does not follow his man which left Mancienne vulnerable throughout the first half on that left hand side . Hence why Warbuton changed it at half time as Mancienne was being pulled out to left back which meant Worrall and mills both had to pull across which they struggled with. On the whole massively unlucky, played some lovely stuff at times . Dowell different class. However think we need a defensive midfielder and another cb!

Haha uptheforest! You can't seriously use the Millwall game as a reason for keeping a clean sheet without Mills.
We looked as bad at the back as we have in ages in that game and Mills not playing had nothing to do with keeping a clean sheet. It was sheer luck and woeful finishing.
I think you know that but your contempt for Mills is making you clutch at straws.

Hobbs and Worral at CB and Mancienne in front of them and Traore and Darikwa as wing backs would make the denfence solid and allows the wing backs to get forward and create chances, especially on Saturday as I think Gestede will be supplying the knock ons for Asoloadsofwonga, and Mancienne will hopefully keep them quiet.
Come on guys in red get at them OPA uuureds.
