Ben Brereton will join Liverpool in a £13m transfer and will be loaned back to Forest for the duration of the season.

he won't be leaving this summer, next summer is more likely.

If MW keeps wasting him on the RW then I wouldn't blame him for leaving.

Maybe he will go but Liverpool will only loan him back if he plays in his preferred position.

Don't be daft where do you think he would play if he went to liverpool? My guess would be wide in a front 3.

If he's being loaned back why wouldn't he be in the squad?

Time to take the goggles off chaps, no way BB is a 15 million pound player yet. Why is it that every player that steps out of our academy and puts on a first team shirt is worth millions? He did naff all at the end of last season and was rightly kept out by a half fit assombalonga. He looked very out of sorts last week, he's got a lot to prove. We heap far too much pressure on these boys because we over egg things and build up the expectation to unrealistic levels.

Because one kid just sold for 200 million. Keep up.

Who was miles better than Brereton keep down and go back to your pretend sums.

Mr Flopp needs to sign some players that will keep Liverpool in the Premiership before he goes stealing young talent to rot in his reserves?

How many times is miles better? 13 times better than a 18 year old?

Do the sums. lol

7 years older than BB at the rate of transfer inflation anything could happen. 15 million for Shearer in 1996 and 20 years on were at 200 million. That's going on for about 9 million per year increase on average.

Ok it doesn't flow like that but by the time BB comes for sale at the end of a 5 year contract 200 million might be happening fairly often and 300 million might not be out of the question for the best player in the world.

Don't look at what he's worth now? What is his potential value and as a bonus to any future club he'd be on much lower wages due to his age.

Pmsl! He scored a couple last season and runs around a lot and he's got the attributes to be 200 million?

Well said 2star. To much hype on these kids who show a little bit of pace with a half decent shot. i'd take 13m any day for Bereton. He won't get a guaranteed starting place in any top 10 prem side.
