Bouchalakis signed on a 3 year deal rather than a loan. Warburton must see something in him. Comes in on a free.

Good business on a free. Happy with that. #COYR.

He looked good in friendlies and has played against some of europes top clubs in recent years in the champions league, one more midfielder and I think our business will be done really, I expect Garnder.
Looking likely that Irvine is going to Brighton and Hector to Hull according to several papers today.
I think MW might wait until end of August and we have played a few competitive games and then access if we need to make late moves for anyone on loan. it might be CB or Keeper but I think he will most likely wait until last few weeks if window.

Is he the midfielder we are supposed to be signing or is there more to follow?

Another to follow and it looks like it will be gardener.

hectors gone to hull, disappointed at that. i'd say one more centre mid and one more centre back having completed the bouchalakis, then i think we've had an excellent summer window.

Does seem like it will be Gardner however HITC reports leeds and forest still in for Irvine and he would choose us as guaranteed first team football where as leeds have plenty options for CM. Also says he fits in with what MW is looking for.

Not convinced he's going to be any good. Playing ok in a friendly vs league 2 teams won't convince me! Selling our best player for 14 million and bringing an Olympiacos reject over is the sort of Fawaz move I thought we'd moved on from!

Woan. Seeing a player, or a team in one or two games is always hard to judge, the quality of opposition can be tricky to judge aswell. Think about last season, how many times when we played top teams did we look a quality side? As a fan seeing us play our best football against a couple of top sides then looking at the table at the end you would say who put the table up were having a laugh. You then think about our performance against Blackburn as the season was close to closing, we looked just what we were a team struggling at the bottom end of the table. If the lad can put a good shift in, and fight for every ball against organised, dogged teams what could he do against the better teams who will leave more space as they venture forward more than lesser teams because they are trying to win and willing to take a few extra risks.

Think he will be a good signing, looked technically good and if you have that and a drive to win then it doesn't matter who you playing againt he will provide competition for gardner in the more attack midfielder position as I don't see Cohen and vaugn playing together in centre midfield, more likely Cohen and Gardner/ Bouchalakis with vaughn being used to give Cohen rest.

Squad shaping up in midfield and attack, just defence that needs to be sorted!
