Will Tyler Walker to be loaned out again? He doesn't seem to fit into anyone's plans so far?

No, MW apparently said he's going to get his chance.

Last I heard, Grimsby were interested in him. It may still come through.

Some players develop at different stages - Walker is a talented player, but for me, he's lacked the aggression and determination on the pitch to be as effective as he maybe could be.

Hopefully some injury free loan spells will do him the world of good.

i agree LDN, with us having brereton, cummings, murphy and vellios i couldn't see walker getting on the bench much at all. hopefully we can sign jackson irvine who according to paul taylor could have a release clause of just under £1.5m which would be a massive bargain. apparently villa, swansea, brighton and the sheep are just some of those interested.

I would back Walker in a sprint against any of them, which shows why he's still here. For me he needs to play a season in league one to mature and then he could be a real asset. However, until we get another striker in he's a different option in the squad.

From what I've seen of him, which isn't a massive amount to be fair, he looks like an old school speedy striker (like Owen, Defoe, Wright although clearly not that calibre) that plays well with a big man laying off and flicking balls on for him. In the 90s he'd have made a good striker. Nowadays players like that have to be absolutely clinical or have something else to their game in order to make it at a decent level. I think he needs to convert to right forward/ wing or even right wing back if he wants to progress as a championship player. He'll probably do well as a striker in league two and maybe even league one in a decent team but not the top two divisions.

He's just scored.

He was terrible at Notts County mid week, probably made it worse due to the fact that he was preferred in the middle over Brereton who got put on the RW. Walker imo is not good enough and is now 5th choice behind Vellios, Murphy, Brereton, Cummings. Should be sent on loan to a League one club.
